    Awful customer service. Requested help from from multiple employees attempting to locate a sale item. The app indicated they had 49 plants available and none of the employees were willing to make an extra effort to locate them. I then placed an online order and after 7 hours without an update I called the store and was advised my order was canceled. Poor customer service and communication. I requested a call from the department manager and am still waiting.

    Lowe's has been a NIGHTMARE. Ordered a refrigerator to be delivered before our remodel was finished. We received notification a few days prior confirming delivery date. The day before delivery we get a notification unit has not been received from vendor and are given a new delivery date 2 weeks later. So we move back home, load our old fridge and take everything back out to put in coolers on ice on day of delivery. New fridge arrives, we reload it and within 2 hours it's banging like someone took a baseball bat to it. The noise continued for 13 hrs and finally subsided around 5am. The Lowes in Shallotte said they couldn't do anything for us and gave us a number for the distribution center in Leland. Spent an hour on the phone with a representative, then supervisor, who said the best they could do was have a manager contact us within 24 hrs, and a technician who might be able to look at the problem wouldn't be available for 2 days. The next day no contact from any manager. I called back, and spent another hour with a representative then supervisor. Fridge I had delivered was no longer available. I gave them a comparable alternative that was advertised on Lowes.com as being on sale until 5/20 for $649. Was told they did not see that on THEIR system. They saw $720. Even though I'm looking at the price and exact model number advertised on their site!! Fine. Send me the fridge. All food back out and back in coolers. 2nd unit arrives. When almost done delivery guy notices dent in freezer door. Asks if I want a new unit or will I accept a credit. I just want a fridge. I accept the credit. He confirms with customer service (a non Lowes employee). THEN when he tries to level the unit a leg is missing. 2nd delivery guy gets a Lowes employee on another phone and I'm given my options... either take the credit and live with a dented 3 legged refrigerator or have a THIRD one delivered in 2 days. We are now trying to keep most of our food cold in coolers to avoid ANOTHER full load / unload / reload and have to wait 2 more days. This is completely unacceptable. We used to trust Lowes. We will NEVER use Lowes again or recommend them to anyone.

    There is an Employee I would like to mention. Her name is Tracy and she works in the Garden section. She is consistently working hard, but always willing to help customers who seem to stop her left and right, for assistance. She is professional, but friendly. She never acts as if she is annoyed either being stopped in the middle of a project. She smiles and finds the answer to your questions - no matter how big or small they are. Big shout out to her!

    I generally have good service but we had a toilet installed and I was told at the time of purchase that the old toilet would be removed. To ensure it was clear I asked twice if the old toilet was going to be removed and the service person that handled install confirmed to me a second time that the old toilet would be removed. The actual install went fine but refused to take the old toilet and now it is my responsibility to get rid of it. It just wasn't good service and I'm disappointed.

    Giving a HUGE shoutout to Billy over in the kitchen faucet department at Lowes. We went in to buy a new garbage disposal and after speaking with him he sold us the special wrench for the bottom of the disposal, saving us a ton of money. Best part of all, we followed the instructions he gave us and IT WORKED!! Our garbage disposal works great and we didn’t have to replace it. THANK YOU BILLY!!! You saved us $ and we really appreciate the information and the help!!
