Stopped in here to get a couple of galvanized hex nuts. Pitiful assortment of sizes! Maybe 20 different sizes Galvanized hex bolts in a saltwater environment store?! They had plenty of zinc ones!

I have had so much trouble with my Midea fridge I purchased back in October. My fridge quit cooling after having it for less than a year. I went in the store at Lowe’s because I was given a return goods authorization form and I went to customer service. The ladies told us they couldn’t help us and that another lady could. That lady was on break and they said she would be back in about 20 minutes. We wait 20 minutes for this lady to tell us that she couldn’t help us either and that we had to purchase another fridge before they could process the return. So there goes 20 minutes wasted. We go back to appliances and purchase a fridge. The gentleman who helped us was actually great. He told us we would have to purchase the fridge and then a manager could help us with the return goods authorization form. He told us to call the manager the next day. I have called several times and waited for about 20 minutes each call. No one has helped me. They keep transferring me to other people and no one can solve my issue. People have jobs and do not have time to be sent from person to person on the phone, nor do they have the time to come into the store several different times to get helped.

Terrible experience. I would highly recommend not using Lowe’s for delivering home items. We’ve now had two orders delivered of various items, and both times they were delivered to the wrong address and both times not able to be recovered. The first delivery picture was just a picture of the driver’s hand handing it to somebody else’s hand. The second delivery photo a week later was of a house that wasn’t ours. Both orders were several hundred dollars. Getting a refund for both has been a nightmare. Lowe’s blames the delivery company they use and tells us to call them, the delivery company doesn’t answer the phone or says they’ll call back with a resolution and they don’t, then we go in-person and the Lowe’s management team hesitates to do anything about it and says we’ll get a call in a few hours (surprise: we don’t get a call) and then it just repeats over a few days until it’s finally refunded. Today’s order was several hundred in blinds. I really thought there was no way the original mishap could happen twice…but fool me twice, shame on me though! I should note that we typically use Lowe’s in Jacksonville quite often for work and have never had this issue. We were really patient about the whole thing initially but are now just blown away by the lack of customer care. Anywho, just wanted to share in hopes it saves someone time and money, as I know there are a lot of new people moving into the neighborhood like us needing home items. UPDATE: after getting no resolution on our second misdelivered order, we went to the store to try to sort it out, again. We needed the items that never showed and had to repurchase them because we needed them TODAY, meaning we’re still out the original amount. The management team member, Melinda, said the delivery service is supposed to be getting in contact with us within an hour to bring our items to us and then I’ll have to return them. If they don’t, then I have to call the OneRail company, the company they apparently use but is nowhere advertised on their checkout screen, and sort it out with them. This is the service that Lowe’s assures you is going to bring you your items, but yet I’ve now probably spent a total of five hours between both orders trying to sort things out with them while Lowe’s does absolutely nothing. Why are they not the ones on the phone? Why are they not the ones waiting on hold? Why are they not the ones making this right? They essentially took our money and then told us to deal with it when nothing showed up. This has been an absolutely atrocious experience where we feel stolen from in both time and money. We will be contacting corporate to discuss this entire experience and hopefully get our money back.

I went for 1/4" x 2.5" screws and a rework switch box. The employee knew nothing about the rework box and a fellow shopper helped. We then went to the hardware section for screws and none of the labeled screws were in the right bin. I understand customers put loose items back in random places but how often does someone perform inventory management and place items in the correct spot? I finally pulled bin after bin out and found a box of 10 of the size I needed. Good job Lowe's at getting that in the column of all the 1/4 inch at least

Placed an order for lumber to be delivered. Gave the delivery date and time as Thursday between 12 and 4. On Wednesday night, we get a message moving our time to 8-12 on Thursday. Not ideal but okay. At 1 pm on Thursday, my delivery has been moved to Saturday between 8 and 8. This is beyond unacceptable and trying to explain why to someone who barely speaks English on another continent just makes it worse. Shop local, this company doesn't care about customers who aren't contractors. I'd give them zero stars if that was an option. Terrible service, terrible communication. I would say do better but they don't care.
