I manage a NEW event venue in Mount Airy, North Carolina called Starlight Event Center!✨ We are hosting our first big catering event tomorrow and after a long day of preparing for that, I needed to make a quick trip to hobby lobby to purchase what I found out later was ONLY 40 yards of fabric 😅🤷🏼♀️ in and in 2 specific colors for table runners and decor. Well, I walked in the door at 7:35pm gradde d some greenery and ran to the fabric section. The sweetest employee named Abigail in fabric at the Mount Airy, North Carolina location was a godsend!!! I was not prepared at all. This was a last minute idea to make everything look extra special for our clients. She was so sweet and patient... When I told her how much fabric I needed she just smiled and started helping me pull colors so we could get enough. After 8 different rolls of fabric we got exactly what we needed! I even had to leave the table while she measured the fabric out to get some buffet risers for our tables. And another sweet girl, who's name I did not catch unfortunately, helped me find those and then took them up to the front register for me. So sweet!!! When I returned to the fabric section Abigail had pulled other rolls of fabric that I needed that were similar so we were sure to get enough!!! She went above and beyond and was so patient and helpful. I can't thank her enough for being so patient with me and sweet... As they announced 15 minutes to closing, 10 minutes of closing, 5 minutes to closing... She never stopped smiling or working and telling me it was fine as I apologized for coming in so late. She definitely deserves some recognition!!! Also, the sweet ladies at the front were so helpful also bagging up my stuff. Not one of them acted like they were frustrated that it was already a couple of minutes past closing once I got up there. I told them they were awesome... And they said it's teamwork!! I agree this hlHobby Lobby has a lot of great teamwork!!! Big shout out to Abigail in fabric and also the sweet girl that ran across the store with me to find those buffet risers!! I'm sorry I didn't catch your name, but I hope that this review finds you also so you both know how much I appreciate it! Good job hiring this team management of the Hobby Lobby in Mount Airy!!! - SSSheilaMay 18, 20263.04th of July stuff not on sale yet. Christmas and fall decor on the floor already. Starting to feel very profit oriented. They frown on you taking pictures of products. I have a YouTube channel for people who can't physically get out and walk the aisles. Was snubbed.
