    I had a very disappointing experience at Lowe’s today. I waited patiently for an employee to finish helping another customer cut pipes, as I needed assistance with the same thing. I observed the employee being friendly, conversational, and helpful with the customer before me. However, when it was my turn, the interaction was completely different. When I politely asked for help, the employee responded with an attitude, holding the pipe cutter and saying “I guess” and “What do you want?” in a dismissive tone that made me feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. I ultimately walked away without getting the help I came for. I understand everyone can have a bad day, but customers should be treated with basic respect and consistency. What upset me most was the noticeable difference in how I was treated compared to the customer before me. I brought the issue to management because no customer should leave feeling disrespected for simply asking for assistance.

    Visited Lowe’s Matthew’s Township, NC for the Kids Workshop. Super experience. Friendly hosts. Thank you for the kids workshop! Truly a great experience! The men’s restroom: an unfortunate experience. All urinals with an out of order sign. The first stall toilet seat : nasty. I cleaned the seat with towel and soap before letting my grandson sit. Unable to lock the stall. Seemingly so close to the staff room the restrooms should be overseen more closely. Certainly not the standard of cleanliness that I expect for myself and my family! Hire the Buc-ee’s man!

    I just had the worst experience. I go in to buy an upright freezer. Get through to purchasing, my appliance cashier, Kevin, tells me the total is 470.56. I tap my card. Approved for 470.56. Balance remaining 21.69 or some change. I ask why there’s a remainder. He tells me maybe my card didn’t get approved for the full amount. I tell him “but 470.56 was the full amount you just told me” this is all after we’d gone over taxes and delivery fees. We do the math and he refunds me the money because he cant explain this other $21. So we move to a different computer. Same thing. This time the money is not immediately refunded. So he takes off $20 flat to account for the unexplained remaining balance. That’s great thanks but now I can’t use my Lowe’s credit card because there’s a large pending purchase and I don’t have enough available credit to purchase this item twice. So they call support and after repeating my available credit out loud for everyone to hear, which definitely rubbed me the wrong way. And now in order to purchase this today (which I originally stressed that I am on a time crunch) I have to request a credit increase.. so a hit to my credit score. But I came in here with enough to buy it but because your system is messed up, it’s now taken me an hour to do something that could have and should have taken 5 minutes. And I have an inquiry on my credit report and have to wait and hope the second transaction actually gets refunded. I ask if there’s any way they could give me some sort of discount. I’m not trying to be greedy but this whole interaction took way too long and caused me way more stress than it needed to. I feel very disappointed that they were not willing to do anything else for me. I understand he took $20 off but that was only because your system was trying to charge me $21 extra that no one could explain why. So no discount. Headache. And a hit to my credit report. I will no longer be going to this location. Kevin was patient and I know it wasn’t his fault but I don’t understand why the manager didn’t seem to care that this was causing me so much distress. Very disappointed in the customer service there.

    Last Thursday I bought 10 boxes of ceramic tiles to complete a bathroom remodel job. Store employee ASHER helped me find the boxes needed, as there weren't many left. He was so helpful, loading the heavy boxes into my cart, ringing up the price, informed me the product was discounted and loaded all into my truck. He was so pleasant and a delight to work with. He also assured me that if any tiles didn't work out I could bring them back. Unfortunately I did have to bring 4 boxes back after examining them and finding them chipped, flawed and having already been returned by a previous customer. Returning them was no problem at all and customer service desk personnel were very helpful. I later found enough tiles at another Lowes and completed my project. My Lowes experience was exceptional due to ASHER and the staff at the returns desk. Thank you Asher!

    I wanted to find out the color of an island on display and set up an appointment for someone to come take measurements. After spending 40 minutes with Mohammad in the cabinetry department—15 of which were spent just logging into his computer—he was unable to answer any of my questions. He then told me I needed to pay an $800 deposit to have someone come out to measure. At no point did he select a cabinet brand, type, style, or color in the system. I later spoke with a manager at customer service, and their response was: “He’s the only one available today, sorry he couldn’t help you.”
