  While vacationing, my wife and I needed some equipment for our trip. Stopped by the local Lowe's, where Samuel helped us. He was a true help, someone who went out of their way to make sure we were satisfied. I can't say this about all Lowe's, but I would visit this Lowe's again, just out the respect and service we were given. Thank you Lowe's and Samuel!

  Have striven to communicate with Lowes and failed utterly. Unfortunately other than posting a negative review, have no place to turn. Ordered a GE refrigerator from Store #3216 in Kill Devil Hills, NC, found to be defective (broken door) when the delivery folks went to unload it. Both us and delivery folk found ourselves VERY frustrated trying to contact Lowes. Each time we called, when routed to delivery the call immediately went to fast busy. Asking the automated system for customer service resulted in long holds which no one answered. We were left with our entire fridge in iced coolers and no one to turn to for resolution. I do not write negative reviews. Rather, I reach out to the company to let them resolve the issue. There is no reach out to Lowes. Lowes customer service has gone from bad to abysmal. No email address, no one to speak with, a useless automated chat function. Our only pathway to resolution is to order a new fridge somewhere else and lose all the food we had prepared to go into a new fridge. This is not the first time we've had a similar situation with Lowes. It is the last. UPDATE: Lowes replied to our review with the statement, "We wanna look into this further. Kindly contact us at 1-800-445-6937 (8:30am - 7pm ET, 7 days a week). We look to win back your confidence with us." The phone number is an automated attendant number which was just as frustrating as every prior aspect of the experience. Gave up 5 minutes into getting uselessly bounced around unable to get a human. If Lowes actually wanted to address the issue, they would check records for Store #3216 for GE refrigerator deliveries the morning of Saturday 8/22/26. All of our contact information is there, they could reach out directly to us. Expecting us to again navigate their useless automated attendant striving in vain to get a human is adding insult to injury. For the record, Lowes has still not reversed the charge to our credit card or communicated with us in any way other than their useless reply to this review. In addition to the preceding, the onus is now on us to put thru a credit card dispute. UPDATE 8/28/26: A week after the charge we have still heard nothing from Lowes, nor have they reversed the charge to our Discover card. We've had to enter a dispute in order to have the charge reversed. UPDATE 8/30/26: After posting this review, receiving a useless response, pointing out to Lowes how easy it would be to contact us and hearing nothing, then having to enter a credit card dispute, Lowes emailed this morning to reschedule delivery for this coming Wednesday September 2nd. We refused delivery of a broken refrigerator. We and the delivery team tried repeatedly to contact Lowes but after documented hours of attempts failed to get a human. We notified Lowes by chat and received written confirmation by chat the order was cancelled and our card would be refunded, a chat we downloaded for documentation; __________________________ 11:53, Aug 22 - Roniel Arga : We apologize for the inconvenience, this is something that we don't want you to experience, me myself would feel the same if I were on your position, here's what I will do. I'll go ahead and have a ticket created and will let the fulfilling location know about the full refund request, please assured that we will keep you posted on your email as soon as the funds are back on the same payment method. __________________________ Lowes failure cost us hundreds of dollars in spoiled food. We have disputed the charge after inability to get any response from Lowes even after telling them in this review how to get in touch with us. We no longer need the refrigerator, especially to be delivered 11 days after Lowes blew the first delivery. One would be hard pressed to make up a worse customer service and communication snafu than this. UPDATE 8/31/26 - We received an email that we "have a Lowes's Box Truck delivery scheduled for 9/2/26". Let's see if the delivery company has more success communicating with Lowes than we or the prior delivery company had.

  Customer service is top of the line. We are building a house and every time I go there, the staff gives me helpful advice and recommendations.

  Good luck getting a delivery. Granted the customer service staff are very polite but can’t help. Took off work for my 4 hour delivery window. Have cleaned out refrigerator and freezer expecting my new refrigerator. At end of window 6pm, called and was advised delivery delayed and they would call 30 minutes prior to arrival. I called again at 7:20pm was told delivery cancelled as they went into overtime. They open at 6am, was told delivery manager would call, 9am next day still no new delivery scheduled and no call from delivery manager as promised and customer service would not have him call me.

  Boy, after reading some of these reviews, mine’s not gonna sound so bad but as many people say if you could leave less than one star you should be able to. I ordered a Refrigerator June 29 scheduled for delivery July 3, canceled by Lowe’s on July 3 rescheduled for July 6 cancel by Lowe’s on July 6 and rescheduled for July 9. On July Customer service assured me that they would speak to the delivery company and will call me back and confirm that the order would come on July 9. (Surprise, didn’t happen.)At this point I’m realizing that they have probably screwed up, so on July 8 I called, And assurance is Again given to me by customer service That the look good and , No worries!, it will be here on July 9. At this point, not trusting what I’m hearing I managed to call and get a hold of the receiving manager at the Elizabeth city Lowe’s where the refrigerator was supposed to be coming from. He was surprised that I had not been called because he said the unit ordered for me was damaged and he had no others in stock. I wonder how many times I could reschedule this in a row with Lowe’s before they would actually have a human being call me and say there’s a problem, we do not have your refrigerator because your unit was damaged and they are currently out of stock. This could’ve gone on for several more Rescheduling exercises.. Their incompetence is unbelievable. The lack of concern is unbelievable. Customer service is told to say whatever the customer needs to hear to keep them happy, there is no follow through to ensure that what they’re telling you is indeed fact. , I have yet to have a customer service person from Lowe’s say, I will confirm this and call you right back …..and have that call actually made back to me. I reported all this to customer service at Lowe’s By email and not surprisingly have not heard back from them regarding this terrible experience I am now a happy Home Depot customer. I hate to say it because Ive bought four washers three dryers three dishwashers three refrigerators and redone a complete kitchen with cabinetry all from Lowe’s., all of those transactions went off without a hitch However, when you get one bad one due to incompetence of a customer service department that’s all it takes to switch to an equal giant in the business namely Home Depot by the way, no surprise they’re delivering my refrigerator from Home Depot early next week
