Good luck getting a delivery. Granted the customer service staff are very polite but can’t help. Took off work for my 4 hour delivery window. Have cleaned out refrigerator and freezer expecting my new refrigerator. At end of window 6pm, called and was advised delivery delayed and they would call 30 minutes prior to arrival. I called again at 7:20pm was told delivery cancelled as they went into overtime. They open at 6am, was told delivery manager would call, 9am next day still no new delivery scheduled and no call from delivery manager as promised and customer service would not have him call me.

Boy, after reading some of these reviews, mine’s not gonna sound so bad but as many people say if you could leave less than one star you should be able to. I ordered a Refrigerator June 29 scheduled for delivery July 3, canceled by Lowe’s on July 3 rescheduled for July 6 cancel by Lowe’s on July 6 and rescheduled for July 9. On July Customer service assured me that they would speak to the delivery company and will call me back and confirm that the order would come on July 9. (Surprise, didn’t happen.)At this point I’m realizing that they have probably screwed up, so on July 8 I called, And assurance is Again given to me by customer service That the look good and , No worries!, it will be here on July 9. At this point, not trusting what I’m hearing I managed to call and get a hold of the receiving manager at the Elizabeth city Lowe’s where the refrigerator was supposed to be coming from. He was surprised that I had not been called because he said the unit ordered for me was damaged and he had no others in stock. I wonder how many times I could reschedule this in a row with Lowe’s before they would actually have a human being call me and say there’s a problem, we do not have your refrigerator because your unit was damaged and they are currently out of stock. This could’ve gone on for several more Rescheduling exercises.. Their incompetence is unbelievable. The lack of concern is unbelievable. Customer service is told to say whatever the customer needs to hear to keep them happy, there is no follow through to ensure that what they’re telling you is indeed fact. , I have yet to have a customer service person from Lowe’s say, I will confirm this and call you right back …..and have that call actually made back to me.
I reported all this to customer service at Lowe’s By email and not surprisingly have not heard back from them regarding this terrible experience
I am now a happy Home Depot customer. I hate to say it because Ive bought four washers three dryers three dishwashers three refrigerators and redone a complete kitchen with cabinetry all from Lowe’s., all of those transactions went off without a hitch However, when you get one bad one due to incompetence of a customer service department that’s all it takes to switch to an equal giant in the business namely Home Depot
by the way, no surprise they’re delivering my refrigerator from Home Depot early next week

We saw a patio set on display and asked about the price. We were told we could not purchase it as it was a display item and a shipment was due the following week. Absolutely not for sale, period. The next day we stopped in the look at lounge chairs and the patio set was gone. We were told it had been sold. We were stunned, as was the sales person, but there was nothing she could do. She wouldn't even offer us a discount on the lounge chairs we purchased.
