Lowes at Western Blvd has been a blessing for us because thank God the employees have great knowledge and help suggest many ways to do things. For me, Bob at the tile section, has been my greatest blessing. I have been able to master my ability to tile and do works in my investment homes and save over 60k in labor this year only.

Update: Shoutout to BRIAN for being extremely UNHELPFUL, RUDE and for having the audacity to be ARGUMENTATIVE over something they’re clearly in the wrong with. Just tried sorting it out over the phone and he tells me it is standard practice to deliver toolboxes assembled and exposed like below. He also said a lot of the Craftsman boxes came with the Lowe’s deal stickers that you see on the pieces in the store, not just “floor models”. Really Brian? He told me if I “wanted to play the blame game and didn’t want the toolbox, that’s another thing” and we could talk about it. I promptly hung up. Way to speak to your customers after making them jump through hoops to get in touch with a person and not a virtual assistant.

Do better and respond with an actual number instead of a generic link to the website and hiring uncouth unprofessional back-burner employees like Brian.
Meanwhile my husband has been on hold for 47 minutes trying to return a call from Patrick that nobody can seem to get a hold of.
I also spoke to Chris, another manager on duty on Monday, who said he would call back with a solution and never did. I only received an email an hour later saying another toolbox has been ordered and was charged for it without my approval or consent. And now we can’t get in touch with anybody that has a modicum of common sense.
Paid over $600+ for a Craftsman toolbox and it was delivered unboxed and exposed, was obviously banged up and had scuff marks and was missing a set of keys with the drawers all locked. At this price point, I expect a new item delivered like a new item - not something wheeled up the driveway looking like it was borrowed from the store’s maintenance department.
This is also a replacement toolbox for a previously returned toolbox that we brought home from the store, that had been damaged in-box by what looked like a fork lift or dolly. We were offered the replacement that arrived today to make up for it after Lowe’s management admitted to it being part of a bigger problem they’ve been having with damaged appliances etc.
We specifically asked for a product quality check for this replacement and were assured by management that everything was fine. At no point were we made aware that we would be getting a FLOOR MODEL, dumped unprotected in the back of the truck to be offloaded in our driveway.
I’ve been on the phone with management trying to fix their repeated messes more times than I care to count this week, yet we are still without the BRAND NEW, UNDAMAGED toolbox that we paid for. How hard is it to get a toolbox?!
For a company like Lowe’s, this is embarrassingly poor quality control and an incredibly careless way to handle a $600+ purchase. Charging customers premium prices while delivering items like this is ridiculous. We were also left waiting for over an hour in-store for the first tool box we tried to pick up while an employee claimed to go check if they had one available. He left us standing there for over an hour, with no communication at any point and we had to go search for him after enough time had passed. We got to Lowe’s at 6:15 PM and left at 8:10 PM, to put into perspective how absurd this whole thing has been from the start. We shop here often for various projects but we’re ready to take our business elsewhere due to employee incompetence and ineptitude to fulfil easy orders.
Don’t even get me started on the employees in the paint section! That’s another review. If I could rate lower than one star, I would.
To note: We were notified that delivery would be between 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM, yet the toolbox was delivered at 10:30 AM and left in my driveway unboxed.
