Unacceptable rookie nonsense. Paid over $600+ for a Craftsman toolbox and it was delivered unboxed and exposed, was obviously banged up and had scuff marks and was missing a set of keys with the drawers all locked. At this price point, I expect a new item delivered like a new item - not something wheeled up the driveway looking like it was borrowed from the store’s maintenance department.
This is also a replacement toolbox for a previously returned toolbox that we brought home from the store but had been damaged in-box by what looked like a fork lift or dolly. We were offered the replacement that arrived today to make up for it after Lowe’s management admitted to it being part of a bigger problem they’ve been having with damaged appliances etc.
We specifically asked for a product quality check for this replacement and were assured by the manager that everything was fine. At no point were we told that we would be delivered a FLOOR MODEL, dumped unprotected in the back of the delivery truck to be offloaded in our driveway.
I’m now on the phone to management trying to fix this mess for probably the sixth time this week, still without the BRAND NEW, UNDAMAGED toolbox that we paid for.
For a company the size of Lowe’s, this is embarrassingly poor quality control and an incredibly careless way to handle a $600+ purchase. Charging customers premium money while delivering merchandise like this is ridiculous.
To note: We were notified that delivery would be between 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM, yet the toolbox was delivered at 10:30 AM and left in my driveway unboxed.

Lowe’s told us they could complete a home project, took our money, and then couldn’t get it right. There were five scheduled installation dates that failed due to issues with either Lowe’s or the manufacturer. After six months of delays and failed attempts, we gave up and requested a refund—which took longer to receive than it took for them to take our money.
Overall, it was an incredibly frustrating experience and a complete waste of time.

Well This 1 star is because of the extremely rude and disrespectful representative we spoke with on what should have been the day of delivery for our refrigerator and dryer and washer. Delivery day rolls around, I take off from work to avoid missing our delivery window between 11.30AM to 3.30PM. Roughly around 10.30 We received an email that one of our items will be delivered on Sunday. Okay fine, but then comes 2PM & there is another Email which states our items were returned. Uncertain about what could be going on and why the item would be returned, we called the store and the woman who answered was anything but pleasant or knowledgeable.
In fact she was beyond rude. At first She said we returned the items, which is not true, and when we informed her that we did not request to return the items we altered our day to receive she became very condescending and even more rude. She then told us the items will be delivered the following day between 7 AM to 7 PM. And When we tried to understand why better notice was not given and why would delivery go from a 4 hour window for delivery to now a 12 hour gap, she stopped responding. After a very long silent hold she says with an attitude what else do you want ? As if we were bothering her. Well I’m sorry to annoy you. I just wish I had taken my $2700 to the competitor. But I will not return to this store and neither will I be recommending it to ANY of my clients.
By the way, When we placed the order for the refrigerator and the dryer and washer Our sales representative Moe was extremely helpful, knowledgeable about the products and delivery time frame. We were very thankful for his attention to details…... But the Lady at the desk Please retrain her, IF she is capable of having compassion and self control.
