It took 3 different trips to deliver a washer that wasn’t damaged. The delivery contractor broke a valve in my home which caused me to hire a plumber to do the repairs. Lowe’s just sent me to the delivery company to file a claim. The delivery company ended up paying for about half the damage because I went ahead and just replaced the entire washer box instead of the valve itself. They only paid for the valve part which is fair enough I guess. Im more upset with Lowe’s because they did nothing via a concession or discount to the machines after all this trouble. Never again!

I’m extremely disappointed with Lowe’s customer service after purchasing a Bosch dishwasher.
I paid approximately $900 for the dishwasher, delivery/haul-away costs, and professional installation. Within just a few days of actually using it, I realized that I was very unhappy with the model—particularly the rack configuration and usable capacity. This is not something a customer can reasonably evaluate by looking at a dishwasher on a showroom floor. You have to load it, use it, and live with how it functions in your home.
Compounding the problem, I could not even get the dishwasher professionally installed within Lowe’s 48-hour return window. By the time it was installed and I was actually able to use and evaluate the appliance, the return period had already expired. That makes a 48-hour return policy particularly unreasonable for a major appliance that requires professional installation before a customer can meaningfully evaluate it.
I contacted Lowe’s expecting them to at least work with me toward an exchange for a more expensive Bosch model. I was not asking them to give me a dishwasher for free. I was willing to spend MORE money with Lowe’s to purchase a model that better suited my needs.
Instead, the response essentially came down to this: because I did not purchase Lowe’s protection plan and the request was outside the company’s 48-hour return policy, Lowe’s was unwilling to help.
That is what I find so disappointing.
The message this policy sends is that customers who can afford to purchase additional protection receive flexibility that customers who cannot—or simply choose not to—do not. A protection plan should protect a customer against future problems with an appliance. It should not be the price of admission for receiving meaningful customer service immediately after a major appliance purchase.
I understand that retailers need return policies. But there is a difference between enforcing reasonable policies and making absolutely no effort to retain a returning customer who has just spent a substantial amount of money, is unhappy with the purchase almost immediately, and is actively offering to spend even more money on an upgrade.
I have spent a significant amount of money with Lowe’s over the years on my home. This experience has made me seriously reconsider where I will purchase appliances—and other major home products—in the future.
If customer satisfaction after the sale depends on whether a customer can afford to purchase an additional protection plan, customers deserve to know that before they buy.

Bought a new floor with enough time to have it install before moving in my new home. They told me they had stock so it was going to be fast. After claiming many times by phone and in person, and 2 weeks after, i got a called from them saying that i have to wait another 12 days. Meanwhile I have half of my furnitures in the garage and the rest in the dinning room, and all chaos. The service is awful, never buying at Lowes again
