  For the initial meeting yall showed up at my house at about 930 pm to talk me into purchasing (or should I say shoving it down my throat and kept talking even after I said I needed to talk to my husband .) (As well as your uniform shirts do not match, the campany name one your emails, ( which i didnt not get a chance to see until later that evening because like any normal parent I was trying to get my kids to bed when you just showed up. Claiming to know someone in my neighborhood. You told me the initial payment would be about $30, when I set up my account I found that to be bull, there was nothing about the initial payment being only $30, It only mentioned that it would be $129 a month and u took it upon yourself to sign me up for 3 years of your services... So after seeing all that I decided to do some research and found many many many bad reviews and comments about yall and both on Facebook and Google. I decided to cancel the appointment and upon calling to try to can the automatic system tells me " Due to it gonna be my initial appointment I have to call back during business hours to can," and hung up on me without telling ur business hours. (Mind you I called at 7 am. ) I then received a text from the company telling me they will be at my house between 30 mins to an hour, I texted back I am very sorry but I need cancel. Two techs show up at my house and informed my husband they did receive my text and I guess simply did not care or who knows but proceeds to tell my husband that we have already been charged the the service. When that initial guy once again lied to me because he said I could pick the day I would like to be charged that no payment would be taken out until I gave the ok... Not to Mention his inability to listen accurately For one I corrected twice on spelling of my name and he still misspelled it. SO BEWARE OF THIS PEST CONTROL COMPANY.

  Extremely pushy sales tactics. Would schedule an appointment without giving a time window expecting you to be available all day. I even called at least a dozen times saying that I need a clear time window as a working mom with two young kids at home, and every single time they would just show up unexpectedly with no warning. Every time I would call to speak to a representative in my area I would get a foreign call center. They trap you in to these contracts so you can’t escape them, I truly cannot wait for our contract to be up and done with them forever.

  Salesman told me they’d be there once a month - read the contract, it’s not once a month. Salesman told me it was for 12 months, wrote the contract and changed it to 24 months - good thing I caught it before signing otherwise I’d be locked into this mediocre company for twice as long. Second time coming to the house the guy didn’t even knock to come inside, just did the outside and left. He also texted me 2 minutes before arriving and that’s the only warning you get for timing. There’s also still Beatles everywhere inside the house and on the patios. 12 months can’t come fast enough.

  My appointment was set for Friday, June 12th but the guy text me to say that his equipment was not working properly and could not come. He said he would come the following Monday or Tuesday. He said I would receive an e-mail confirmation that Sunday. I never received an appointment e-mail and he never showed up on Monday or Tuesday and never returned my texts. So I scheduled a new appointment for Friday, June 26th and arranged to be home all day again. Instead of coming this upcoming Friday, he showed up today, Tuesday, June 23rd while I was at work. He only treated the front yard and explained that he could not get to the back yard due to the gates being locked. He obviously could not come inside either since I was at work. I text him to say that I need the full treatment I am paying for and that he was supposed to be coming this Friday, but he never text back. Yet, I received the invoice already for a fully completed service!!! I did call customer service and the woman was very kind and considerate. She rescheduled my treatment for this Friday with a different guy. I sure hope this is not the level of service I should expect. We switched from Orkin and so far I am not impressed.

  A very young white man on a Segway wearing aptive polo arrived at my door during a very inconvenient time. As soon as he approached I explained I was not interested in anything he was selling and he kept going on and on. I explained I was getting my son down for a nap. I basically had to shut the door in his face to get him to leave. It was a frustrating experience. Even worse he came back around 7 pm and knocked on my door twice. I ignored it as I was playing with my 2 year old son and getting ready for his birthday party. I see him leaving and walking down my driveway. He then turns and heads to my backyard. He goes to my back fence and starts talking with my husband. I bring out my crying son and informed him I've already told him we're not interested this morning. My husband said the same thing. He then said he didn't come by this morning, absolutely gaslighting me. I have no doubt this was the same young white man bc he had a very distinctive eyebrow design where 2 lines where shaved out of his eyebrow. That absolutely infuriated me. He then continued talking about how he was about to put down some mosquito traps when we told him no. I then said, I've told you several times we are not interested, it's time to move along. If I ever thought about a mosquito company, I would NEVER use Aptive. Their salesperson was invasive and simply a liar. And incredibly disrespectful to a busy mother. Please train your employees better and teach them that no means no and it's unacceptable to harass people.
