The 2 stars are for the two gentlemen that actually acknowledged me. One man of color actually asked me if he could help me find something? The other (man of color) was more interested in getting my gutter cleaned. Yet, he did asked if I needed any other help. The rest of the workers male and female walked passed, dropped their head as to not see me. The woman at the register saw me coming and decided she'd inquire what the man standing at the door, who had been standing their a while needed. I had a mind to put my purchase back and go to Target. That's a whole nother issue.

I have spent well over $15,000 at this Lowe’s store this year alone, yet every time I need to return an item worth $50 or less, I feel like I’m being treated as if I’m trying to scam the store.
The first issue was when they incorrectly color-matched a gallon of paint. I brought in the exact paint I wanted matched, but the color was wrong. When I tried to return it, they refused.
Most recently, I purchased three weather strips that did not fit my door. When I returned them the same day, I was told that not all of them appeared to have come from their store, essentially implying that I was trying to return merchandise I didn’t buy there. I even asked them to review their security footage, which would clearly show that all three items were purchased from that store just hours earlier.
The same thing happened when I tried to return an oven adapter that didn’t fit my receptacle. Instead of honoring their return policy, I was questioned and given a hard time.
Another example was a toilet seat I purchased that was broken right out of the box. I brought it back the same day, and instead of simply exchanging or refunding a defective product (and apologizing for it), I was asked whether I had broken it while installing it. The toilet seat was already damaged when I opened the package, yet I still felt like I had to defend myself and prove I wasn’t trying to scam the store.
Lowe’s is always happy to take my money, but when an item doesn’t fit, doesn’t work, or was incorrectly provided by the store, returning it becomes an interrogation. Their return policy may look good on paper, but the way it is enforced at this location is inconsistent and customer-unfriendly.
After multiple experiences like this, I will be taking my business elsewhere. Customer loyalty clearly isn’t valued at this store.
I have several other examples of similar experiences at this store, but I believe these incidents are enough to illustrate the pattern. The issue isn’t a single return—it’s the consistent difficulty, suspicion, and poor customer service whenever a legitimate return is requested.

Absolutely horrendous situation today with an dishwasher installation. I called 4 times to make sure this install was happening today because I never received any follow up to confirm the installation. Lowes Rep left a voicemail for the installation team to call me ASAP. They never called, which I had to call back this morning to confirm this was even happening today. I also ook off work to have this installed.
Was told that they were calling the wrong phone number the entire time. They didn't even reach out on the main phone number that I had listed, but called the alternate number that I had deleted from my account just to make sure there was no confusion.
Finally received a verbal confirmation of the install by a Lowes Rep. Then 15 minutes later they called to tell me that the dishwasher hadn't even arrived at the store and the entire install was canceled.
I was also lied to be this "Reliable Services" Install company saying that the only number they received was the "alternate" number. The lowes rep in store told me that was not true because they can see the entire profile of my lowes account.
What a horrible experience! You have lost a lowes customer forever!
