  The store is great, but as far as the guy(on the younger side)from the appliance dept was a total waste of my time when I called. Asked about my kitchen appliances/ order that was delivered today 8/25 to my home. They didn't hook up my OTR microwave. I didn't realize there is a charge for this and stated this to him. Asked if there is anything "you" can do and he said no. That I have to Come into the store, Pay the $179 then WAIT for a call back to now schedule and appt for someone to come out to my house. He was very rude though the whole conversation. I just got done spending over $3800 on kitchen appliances and I can't even use part of them. Also, the delivery people were nice however they never leveled my refrigerator nor my stove. Seems they couldn't wait to get out and to their next stop. Very disappointed about this whole experience, one that I may not do again in Lowe's.

  Wanted to purchase a whole bunch of fun stuff to put together my skeleton's rat rod. Had all kinds of things packed in a pink bucket. No matter where I went to find things, I never once came in contact with a store associate (except one walking out of the breakroom with his microwaved popcorn) that would offer to help me find anything I struggled to locate. After an hour of searching and struggling, even asking other customers, I made a decision. I left my bucket and all the supplies, with two women at a register. Told them I couldn't find anyone to help me, so I was leaving the bucket, and all the stuff I was going to buy, with them to put away. I was shy only ONE item, but since there was no one around to help, since there was no "press here for help" button. They looked at me, looked at each other, and rather than ask, "what can WE help you find?", they just in unison, said, "ok" and I walked out. Guess where im going? Its easier to get help on Amazon from the comfort of my sofa. But im not. Im going where the big orange sign will welcome me.

  Bought a refrigerator and got two day delivery. But on that 2nd day, the refrigerator arrived with no handles. So we were rescheduled for the next day, totally understandable. We were given a 4 hr window for delivery. 2 hrs into that window, the delivery time was adjusted another 2 hrs was 1-5, now 3-7 pm). At 4 pm we got a phone call saying we were next in line. At exactly 7 pm, we got a call saying they weren’t coming at all. After several phone calls, I was told we’d be waiting another 48 hrs. I have cancelled the order, this is terrible service. I will not buy any other appliances from these people.

  I want to rate one particular item. My neighbor purchased a $179, 7 cubic foot, two wheeled wheelbarrow a few months ago. Item 1167155 It has been used very little and had NOT had heavy loads in it. In the picture of this item you can see the collars on the wheels. On one of the wheels the collars have BROKEN off, After being shocked that KOBALT warranty was nil, I tried to purchase a replacement wheel through Kobalt product support and am unable to do so. The best they could offer was a tire of similar size with no collars. So, I intend on taking this piece of crap wheel to a welding shop to see if it can be repaired. If that doesn't work am I to secure a replacement wheel with washers and drilling the axel to hold a cotter pin? Oh, and the replacement wheel is $36.48 This has totally soured me on ever making a purchase of any KOBALT tools in the future.

  I am still at a loss for words regarding the absolute disrespect and just horrible service my boyfriend and I have received throughout multiple Lowe’s locations in the Raleigh and Garner area. As a couple that has recently bought a house that needs fixing up, we were eagerly paying customers of Lowe’s. I can honestly say that from the last couple experiences we will never use the Lowe’s franchise again and have found the exact opposite treatment at local Ace Hardwares and Home Depot’s. The first incident, was having someone come out, measure for appliances, and then recommend appliances that don’t even fit properly in our home. Instead of purchasing a new fridge, we toyed with the idea of updating the kitchen, where we had another employee come out and measure the kitchen for a quote, only to never hear from them and then get told if we switch stores we would need someone else to come out and repay for the service. The next incident happened when trying to update our closet where I can honestly say that throughout three stores, there were only 3 employees that were respectful and helpful in this experience. After spending over $3000 half our order was canceled with no communication as to why. After calling 7 times, being hung up on and put on hold for over a half hour the concern was dismissed and took the order arriving wrong for anyone to communicate with me. On top of that some of our order that wasn’t canceled never arrived and I had to argue for the refund. I ended up going to another store myself to pick up what was missing. I was offered no help entire time and was only communicated with when the self check out worker start making comments about the money we were spending and asked me how a girl could manage this closet project on her own. I was told someone would meet me outside to load up my car but had to do it on my own because they were incapable and then made a comment about how I wouldn’t be able to get it out of my car myself. I was appalled by the open sexism. The last trip we ever made was to return a piece that we didn’t need where we were met with one of the employees having a terrible attitude when trying to return by using our phone number which we have done multiple times. We excused bad attitude multiple time on accounts of not knowing how a workers day was going but there have been too many incidents of disrespect, rude attitudes, and lack of customer service over the course of multiple projects now.
