This Lowe’s downright sucks. It has been my neighborhood store for 13 years and I do what I can to avoid it. My first visit when moving in, I could not get any help at appliances, yet there was an employee leaning against a fridge on his cell phone. Never came to answer the button call. Similar stories throughout the years when I have had no choice but to go there. Today drew the line. I’ll forever shop elsewhere. We actually found someone to get help from. Pressing their button to allow a message to come over the intercom for ten minutes didn’t work. After walking around and locating an employee we returned to hardware to find a nut we needed. We had the size using the thing they have hanging up but could not locate it in the drawers or on the shelves. The nut and bolt drawers are awefully unorganized. Spaces are completely filled with wrong pieces….this is not the result of customers placing items back in the wrong spaces but a pure lack of care when stocking the items. Anyways the employee who was assigned to this section had no knowledge of hardware or the location of the size we needed. While she was looking another employee came and took her away from helping us. She never told him she was helping a customer and neither of them ever asked us to wait. We decided to leave at which point we walked by them. He took her away to show her something on a dang computer. We stopped to express frustration at which time the man just smiled and smiled and the lady was completely dumbfounded. After no help at this store for 13 years I don’t know why I was surprised.

Had an awful customer service experience today. Went to the Lowe’s in West Fayetteville, NC to buy a John Deere lawn sweeper. Before going i verified that Lowe’s had the item in stock and checked what the prices was, it was listed at $449. When I went to the store to pick it up I found it and saw that it was marked at $499. I asked an employee working in lawn and garden about the price and showed him the listing on the app. He verified the item number and said to take it up front and they would correct the price to what was listed in the Lowe’s app. When I explained to the cashier she stated we don’t honor the web prices. I stated that doesn’t sound correct as this item was listed on the Lowe’s app, for this exact store. She then stated”I don’t make the rules”. I then asked to speak with the store manager so that they could explain why they would have a price $50 more that what was listed on their own website. She then stated in a very dismissive manner “he’ll just tell you the same thing”. I then waited and she finally went to customer service with me and again in a very dismissive manner told the customer service personnel that I wanted to speak with the manager. I waited for a considerable amount of time but the customer store manager never came. Eventually they brought the appliance supervisor over who stated that I could not speak with the store manager, that they were management and reiterated that they do not honor prices from their own website and also stated “I don’t make the rules”. I will say this is by far the worst customer service experience I’ve had in quite some time. I don’t believe I would be treated this way at Home Depot or Tractor Supply. I do have the following questions:
-Is it Lowe’s corporate policy that stores don’t honor the prices listed on their website?
-Does Lowe’s corporate approve of the response “I don’t make the rules” when a customer has a question or concern about something.
-Is it Lowes corporate policy that employees can refuse to bring a manager to explain and discuss an issue if requested?
Would love to hear from someone at Lowes to discuss this. In the meantime your West Fayetteville store should really do better.

First I want to say these five stars are for Neeya, Hakeem, Teresa, Kai, I need to find out the other young man’s name that helps me in the floral department. They are all so helpful and friendly even when it’s busy and a bit overwhelming. Neeya is so pleasant and takes her time to focus on the customers. Hakeem is forever busy jumping from one task to the next and yet always helpful and kind. Teresa in the paint dept. Went out of her way not once but twice to help me. Kai always has a bright disposition and pleasant. The other young man is always helpful and friendly (I’m gonna correct ) as a whole they’re a great team. And thank you for always helping me and being polite.
As for one manager lady recently who wouldn’t even look at me when speaking she’s not much help isn’t pleasant and doesn’t do a bit more for her part (that’s a name I’ll correct as well).
Once again it’s appreciated!!!
