If I could give 0 stars, I would. Unfortunately, that is not an option. My experience at Lowe’s was extremely disappointing and misleading. While we were at the checkout counter making a large purchase, an employee approached us and enthusiastically said, “Wow, you’re making a big purchase today. Would you like 20% off?” She explained that if we applied for a Lowe’s credit card, we would receive 20% off our purchase. Because of that offer, we decided to buy additional items at this location instead of purchasing them elsewhere. We went through the entire credit application process, got approved, and were then told, “Congratulations, you saved over $300.” Naturally, we believed that was the discount we were receiving because that is exactly what was shown and communicated to us. After leaving the store, we reviewed the receipt while driving home and quickly realized the numbers on the receipt did not match what we had been shown on the screen. Instead of saving over $300, we only received $100 off. We immediately drove back to the store for clarification. When we asked the cashier about it, she casually responded, “Oh yeah, it’s up to $100 off.” That was NEVER explained to us beforehand. At no point during the application process did anyone mention a $100 maximum discount. Even worse, we had been shown completely different numbers on the screen, leading us to believe we were receiving the full amount promised. We explained that had we known the discount was capped at $100, we never would have agreed to run our credit for such a minimal savings. We simply asked that they be honest and transparent with future customers. Instead of showing understanding or apologizing, the cashier laughed and said, “Okay.” This experience felt dishonest, misleading, and incredibly unprofessional. Customers should not be pressured into credit applications with unclear terms and misleading numbers displayed on the screen. We left feeling frustrated, deceived, and very discouraged from shopping here again.

James (young fella with long curly hair) did a great job helping with questions I had at the garden center. If he didn’t have an answer for us he would call the walky-talky and get us an answer. Thanks for the great quality customer service.

My complaint is there is never any lumber carts in the store. I always have to get one from outside. There carts are beat up and barely rolling most of the time. I usually can't find anyone in lumber that's willing to help. If there is someone, there face is in there phone or there getting crushed at the register. Other than that, not to bad of a Lowes.

We just wanted two interior doors replaced and six weeks later as you can see in the images this is what we were left with from Rock Solid construction. After countless phone calls to Lowes Corporate, Rock Solid and the local Lowes store we still do not have this resolved. The door they installed was the wrong door and the installation is far less than acceptable. We have a living room full of trim and two doors sitting in our spare bedroom and keep getting put on the back burner. If you want to purchase doors from Lowes then do yourself a favor and hire your own contractor because Lowes only uses Rock Solid and I do not recommend them. Update: I still have not heard from management from Rock Sold and its been almost two weeks and I was told a senior member would reach out to me in 48 hours. Today is May 11th and we had an appointment for the installer to be here between 8-11 and at 12:30 I received a text that the installer would not be here today and the next appointment offered was May 18th. I AM DONE! This is beyond comprehension. This will now be over a 2 month project to have two doors installed.

I give this business two stars because I do business here occasionally and don’t think my experiences have been great nor exceptional. I do not see many workers here (when I am actually able to locate one on the sales floor) that stick around after a few months at best. Faces change very frequently. Because other businesses with similar options in the area are a bit scarce around here, I tend to use Lowe’s as my last last ditch effort. Return policy is a bit rigid and telephoning the place is typically futile. In the event someone answers the phone, they will gladly transfer you to the department you need help locating a product. However…… You will be lucky if the person in that department picks up the phone. It just rings and rings and rings. With all of this being said I do not understand why they are always trying to hire people. In my opinion, I am wondering specifically if the company and management team as a whole are the culprits as to why the shopping experiences I have had seem to be slightly below average to average at best. Is the high turnover rate and the fact they are frequently looking for new hires a direct reflection of poor treatment and working conditions for the employees? What I am getting at is there needs to be many, MANY more employees working on the floor.at all times and people need to answer the phone much faster. I am a business owner and time is extremely valuable for me throughout my day. This is just my $.02.
