- JMJim McNeelyAug 27, 20151.0During the past few years I have visited Metro Fire & Safety to get fire extinguishers serviced and refilled. The most recent visit was last week, August 14, 2015. I have NEVER been able to get a fire extinguisher serviced and refilled there. Always some sort of excuse, a couple of them known to be bogus. I don't like posting negative reviews, but in this case I just had to, especially since it was dealing with a piece of life safety equipment. I've come to the conclusion that if you have an old fire extinguisher that needs to be refilled, you'd be better off just trashing it and buying a new one, rather than trying to hassle with getting it refilled.
