I have been a customer at Extra Space Storage in Durham, NC for over 7 years and I love it there! The facility is clean, well lit, and perfectly climatized. Access is easy. The hours open are long and I have a personal entrance code. They have many flatbed pushcarts and a spacious elevator. The bathroom is always well kept. When it comes to customer service, Extra Space Storage is tops. I enjoyed a helpful conversation this week with the manager, Jordan. Not only was he friendly, courteous, and upbeat, he was extremely knowledgeable, and confidently answered all my questions. Storage has been a perfect solution for me. I have freed up my closets to be more utilitarian, and I have been able to keep things I did not have the courage (yet) to throw away. I learned that just because you own something doesn’t mean you have to live with it. Thank you Extra Space!

Started great when it was originally CubeSmart. Changed ownership a few times. Rates always went up with no flexibility in any deals even though I was a long time customer. Elevator is dirty and missing parts. Not much to say otherwise about a place to store stuff.
