  I had a truly wonderful experience with Blaise and David, who installed my materials. They were timely, efficient, and meticulous with their work. Extremely professional and also friendly! Budget Blinds is fortunate to have them as team members.

  I had outdoor shades installed on my back porch by Blaise and Leo to help cut down on late afternoon sun exposure and added privacy. They did an exceptional job and I appreciated their help in explaining how to roll them up and down as well as securing them. I have the option of securing them halfway down or completely down which gives me so much flexibility. They texted me when they were heading my way and removed all the boxes, etc before leaving.

  These Lutron shades are AMAZING! We have a lot of windows w/ cat trees, speakers, or desks in front of them, making it difficult to reach a cord to adjust the blinds. Plus, we had 40 year old aluminum blinds. So I started looking on the web at motorized remote control blinds. Lots of choices. LOTS! At my age, convenience is a priority. That includes installation and maintenance. So I decided against do-it-yourself. After more research and reviews, I called Budget Blinds in Durham. From that very first call, dealing with them is what you hope for, what you remember doing business used to be like, but sadly not what you expect these days. Setting up an appointment for evaluation and an estimate was easy and pleasant. The guy came on time, listened to our wants, and listened intently to my suggestions, (that turned out to be completely misguided… I know… hard to believe). Then he explained the options, the good and bad of each, the prices, and finally what he thought might be the best fit for us. He couldn’t have been more on point and logically in line with our desires. (It was not what I would have chosen from my web research.) It was that knowledge and advice I wanted. So far, no charge. We went with his advice. Made an appointment for installation. Once again the guys arrived on time. And once again, they could not have been nicer or more professional and competent. Jason and Neri worked smoothly and smartly. I watched them and congratulated myself for deciding against do-it-yourself. They cleaned as they went, there was no sign they had been there when they left, and they took away all the old material. These guys are good, and exactly what you hope for when a workman is coming. And I feel really comfortable that if we need any kind of repair, replacement, or maintenance in the future, I have a place that can and will provide it to my satisfaction, w/o hassle.

  Budget Blinds was a pleasure to deal with. Mark Fitzpatrick came to my home and shared ideas of materials that were well suited to cover the large glass window in my back door. I chose a pull-down shade that was efficiently installed by Jason and Nery. Jason explained the proper way to adjust the shade and the details of how to clean it. He also explained in detail the features of the warranty and the referral program. I will definitely contact them for any of my future window covering needs.

  We had both motorized (Lutron Serena) and non-motorized roller shades installed on many of the windows throughout our home. It took a couple of months and three visits for all the shades to be installed. This was due to: incorrect sizes of some shades when the initial install was done (due to either incorrect measurement by the salesperson, or incorrect construction by the factory, or incorrect initial installation - there was some finger pointing going on), and one defective manual shade when its initial install was done. Because the prices of these shades are very high, there is absolutely no excuse for measurement errors and faulty out-of-the-box shades. There is also no excuse for it taking two months to get the issues resolved, again because these shades are very expensive. Part of the sales pitch (and justification for the price) is that installation will be flawless. In the end, the quality and function of the shades is as advertised, but the process to get there was not as advertised.
