We had a wonderful experience with Aptive, and we especially want to recognize Andrew and Jared.
Andrew, who came out initially, was friendly, knowledgeable, and never made us feel pressured. He took the time to answer our questions honestly and made us feel comfortable with our decision.
Jared, the technician, was equally impressive. He was professional, courteous, thorough, and took the time to explain what he was doing and why. It’s clear he takes pride in his work and genuinely cares about providing great service.
In a world where good customer service sometimes feels hard to find, Andrew and Jared reminded us that there are still people who truly care about doing a great job and treating customers with kindness and respect. Thank you both for making this such a positive experience. We highly recommend Aptive!

I am disappointed with the quality of the service.
The representative from your company did not wait for me to answer the door. He/she did not ask about my specific needs or which insects I wanted treated. He/she also did not send me a text message to let me know that he/she was at the door. I was on the second floor and did not hear the doorbell.
By the time I realized that he/she was already treating the outside of the house, I came outside and saw him/her leaving our driveway. I think he/she saw me, and I tried to call him/her, but he/she did not respond and drove away.
I needed treatment for ants around the house and spiders. I also needed the inside of the garage to be treated, but since he/she did not ask about my needs, nothing was done inside the garage.
We still have quite a lot of ants on the driveway in front of the house and near the front doorstep by the front yard. I do not feel that the service was completed properly or professionally.
I would like someone to come back and complete the treatment properly.

I canceled my pest control service in May and was told I would be responsible for payments through the end of my contract in June, which I understood and accepted. Based on that conversation, I reasonably believed my service would end after my June payment.
To my surprise, I was charged again in July. When I called, I was told that I was required to call back in June to “confirm” the cancellation. At no point during my May cancellation call was I informed of this additional requirement. Had I been told, I absolutely would have called.
Instead, I was charged an extra $50 because of a process that was never disclosed to me. Good customer service depends on clear communication, and this experience fell well short of that standard. If your company requires a second confirmation call to cancel service, customers should be explicitly informed during the initial cancellation request.
Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling frustrated and disappointed, and I hope the company improves its cancellation process so future customers don’t encounter the same issue.

We’ve used mosquito and pest control services for many years, but today was our first experience with Aptive — and it was outstanding. Jabril was our technician, and his work ethic truly impressed us. In all our years of receiving similar services, we have never seen anyone put in as much effort, care, and pride as Jabril did during his visit.
Aptive is fortunate to have such a dedicated and professional young man representing their company. Based on our experience today, we would gladly recommend Aptive — and especially Jabril — to anyone looking for reliable, high‑quality mosquito or pest control service.

Do yourself a favor and stay far away from Aptive. This is hands down the worst pest control company I have ever dealt with.
I signed up in April and was specifically promised mosquito trap installation as part of my service package. My first appointment was May 1 — they showed up, did some generic treatment, and left without setting up a single mosquito trap. No explanation, nothing.
They rescheduled for May 13 to come back and finally handle the traps. When the technician arrived, he told me he was there to treat the inside of my home. That is NOT what I asked for. I told him I have a mosquito problem and I need the traps set up — exactly what was promised to me. His response was “sorry, I don’t have time for that today.” On a visit that was specifically scheduled to fix their mistake. Unbelievable.
Then the day before my second scheduled service, I get an email saying they are pushing my appointment all the way to June 25. No call, no apology, just a rescheduled date nearly six weeks out.
I called to cancel. Spoke with someone and made it clear I am done — they are not holding up their end of the deal. And they refused to process my cancellation because managers are not available on weekends. So they can charge your card and book appointments on weekends, but can’t cancel when they fail you? Convenient.
This company makes promises they don’t keep, ignores what you actually ask for, and then makes it nearly impossible to leave. Zero stars if I could.

Why am I still seeing pests after my first treatment?
If you are seeing pests right after your treatment, odds are you are witnessing them flee your property, which typically means the treatment is effective. If after a week you are still seeing pests, give us a call and our service professional will gladly return to treat your home at no additional cost.
How much does professional pest control cost?
Our professional pest control plans start as low as $49 to $55 per month for our Basic plan, depending on your location. We offer three primary tiers—Basic, Pro, and Premium—designed to fit different levels of protection needs and budgets.
Do you offer same-day pest control services?
Yes, depending on current technician availability. If you call before noon, we can often provide same-day service for urgent pest issues.
How soon can a technician come out for an emergency?
We strive for 24 to 48-hour response times. For emergencies like a yellow jacket nest or indoor roach sightings, we prioritize your call in our daily schedule.
Do you spray both the inside and outside of the house?
Yes, standard service covers both. We focus on the exterior to stop pests at the source and treat the interior (baseboards/under sinks) to eliminate any that have already entered.
What areas are included in a "perimeter" treatment?
A perimeter treatment covers 3 feet up the foundation and 3 feet out into the yard. We also treat windowsills, door frames, and eaves.
How do I get rid of an ant infestation in my kitchen?
To stop ants, we use "transferable" baits. Workers carry the bait back to the queen, killing the entire colony rather than just the ants you see on the counter.
What is the best treatment for German cockroaches?
German roaches require a combination of baiting, insect growth regulators (IGRs), and sanitation. They are resilient, so 2–3 follow-up visits are often required for total elimination.
Is pest control safe for children and infants?
Yes, we prioritize family-safe applications. By focusing on the exterior and using low-toxicity indoor treatments, we minimize exposure. We recommend keeping children out of treated areas for 30–60 minutes until dry.
What is your "Pest-Free Guarantee"?
Our guarantee means if the pests return between scheduled visits, we return for free. We stay until the problem is solved.
Do you offer free re-treatments?
Yes, all of our recurring plans include unlimited free re-treatments for covered pests.
Why am I still seeing bugs after my first service?
This is the "flush out" period. The treatment is driving pests out of their hiding spots. They will die off shortly after coming into contact with the product.
Why is the pest problem getting worse?
This usually happens with ants and roaches as they are attracted to our baits. This "surge" is a sign that the colony is actively feeding on the treatment.
How can I tell if a treatment was successful?
Success is measured by a steady decrease in sightings and finding dead insects rather than live ones.
Do you guarantee 100% elimination?
We guarantee to control and manage populations to the point where they do not infest your living space. No one can stop every single bug from ever entering, but we ensure they don't stay.
