  I had what was supposed to be a dehumidified unit. There was water damage to multiple items in the unit, including an unfinished quilt that has what appears to be rust stains on it that won’t come out, which cannot be replaced because boutique quilt fabrics are limited edition and only on the market for a few months before being discontinued. But because I moved my belongings out when the damage was discovered, instead of giving them a chance to let more of my things get ruined, the insurance they’ve required me to pay for over the course of the last two years told me there’s nothing they can do. That’s aside from being contacted by voice call when I gave clear instructions to text or email me, and aside from the fact that they can’t split a card payment in their online system OR take Apple Pay either online or in office OR take cash. It’s also aside from the fact that the office staff will claim they were “on their lunch” when asked to respond to an issue and just coming back, but they were contacted about it hours prior.

  Miss Kimberly at American Store & Lock was absolutely amazing! She was very helpful, communicative, patient, and professional throughout the whole process. She answered all my questions, made everything easy to understand, and had such a positive attitude. Great customer service like hers is hard to find these days. I truly appreciate all her help and would definitely recommend this location because of her!

  I had a fantastic experience at American Store & Lock on Monroe Rd! Ms. Kim is absolutely amazing. She has been the only one in the office since I have been there, and she handles everything with such grace. My move-in for my office rental was incredibly smooth. She is always professional, very knowledgeable, and made the whole process easy and stress-free. If you need storage or an office space, definitely come here—she takes great care of her customers!
