Where to start. Impossible to get help because they are so understaffed. Those working all seem to be new and don't know anything. And when they called for help a manager never showed up.
We needed paint but there was no one working there this week when we stopped by on two different occasions. So we went across the street to Home Depot. No problem.
Both times we were there we also needed help in the garden center. Same situation. All new staff, didn't know anything. They tried to use a smartphone to find the answer but it was not correct. So they just gave up and said we'd have to check up front for help.
Last visit, as we were leaving, we did see an old manager running around like a chicken with his head cut off. He was barking orders at folks but since they were all new they didn't really know what to do. Funny to see. Glad I don't work there.

Staff not very knowledgeable. Saw older manager complaining to employees about customers. Lots of young kids working there just hiding out talking or on their phones. Compared some prices and looks like Amazon is a lot cheaper so will do that from now on.

Do your stores have managers? If so, why aren’t they managing to put another person on a register at the lumber exit? You know, the exit where all the trades people have to go to check out. Every day. One person and a line behind them. We have schedules to follow and can’t afford to spend 30 minutes trying to buy a 2x4.

My parents bought a new house 3 minutes from this Lowes in Cary. I specifically went to this location because of how close it was. I bought a Weber grill, 1200 bucks, before I bought it, I had the associate that was helping me, check to make sure it was in stock. He checked and made sure it was, and it was. I told him my parents had a house warming party the coming up weekend, and we had to have the grill buy then. He checked with delivery and said that it can and will be delivered in 2 days, which would be that Thursday. I stressed the importance of having that grill buy that date. While at the store I got a text saying exactly what was promised, that Thursday was when it was schedules. I paid for the grill, and was on my way. I promised my mom, she would have it Thursday and I would be cooking on it at their new home at the party on that Sunday. I received a text saying it was now going to be Saturday instead of Thursday. I called several times to the store and nobody acted like they wanted to hear me out and blamed delivery services, took no accountability. I finally spoke to someone and stressed dearly that I absolutely needed the grill buy Saturday for the party on Sunday. Saturday came by and no grill, They are no saying its going to be Wednesday. I had to drag my grill from my house to my parents so the party could still go on. This was a nightmare for me. Lowes will never get another cent of my money. Yeah watch out for the "free delivery and assembly" what good does that do if they do it on their own time. This is not how you treat long time customers. Look, I get that delays happen, but the way you handle it matters. They keep on blaming each others departments, no accountability, no resolution, definitely no empathy. Shame on you guys

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s.
