Can I please just say Alyssa in customer service goes the extra mile in everything she does?? I have never dealt with somebody more incredible than she is - if she can't do it, she finds somehow who can, if she doesn't know, she finds out, and I jokingly said to her last time I was in there returning steam cleaner "who needs a man" because honestly women could rule the world. Thanks Alyssa and please men don't get your panties in a wad about this - we need you in the world also - but with the impending take over of AI our world really needs more Alyssa's!!!!!

I have been a very loyal client to Lowe’s in my home town, Greensboro NC. However, since I am in process of starting a windows and door replacement project at my daughter’s house in Raleigh, NC. We tried to get some information from Lowe’s branch at Cary, NC 27518. At the first visit we failed to find an associate at the windows and doors dept that would able to assist us and we were told to return in another day which we did. During the second visit we focused on getting info for replacing a sliding door only and the associate was kind to provide us with a quote for the materials desired which was under $ 600. When we tried to get some estimates concerning the cost of installation, we were told that Lowe’s can’t provide such info except through having an appt with an outside installer who would come to our house, get measurements and provide a quote. We made the appt which was today and the installer came, did what is needed and provided a total lump sum quote which was around $5k +. When he was asked to provide a breakdown list of the cost, he declined claiming that his system does not do it. So my question is: whom are we dealing with? The store, the installer or another hidden agent ?
At the same time, we had contacted another company that was able to provide us with a detailed quote for the same materials, labor and installation with a much better warranty all under one roof.
Lowe’s unfortunately failed to meet my minimum satisfaction concerning this particular project and I would not recommend it for.

Horrible experience. Called multiple times only for their customer service team to pick up my calls and then immediately hanging up … not a single “hello” or “please hold”. Finally got through on the fifth call only to have the team member keep me on hold so long that the call ended. Drove across town to confirm availability of item myself and speak to the manager who essentially gave me the “oh well … sorry about that”. As a PRO member, I expected more. Very disappointing.
