We purchased Trex decking from this Lowes through the Pro-desk. It all started off great but when it came time for the scheduled delivery, that's when everything went south. Austin/Pierre told us we'd receive our order on June 11th so I made plans to be home to accept delivery and all that showed up was a box of screws. I contacted them and were informed it would now be arriving on June 16. I went into the store over the weekend and spoke to the supervisor and he said it would be deliverd on Tuesday and they'd call us on Monday June 15th to confirm delivery time. I never received a call, so I contacted them and Pierre said he spoke with receiving and that it would be delivered on June 16th. On the night of the 15th I received a text confirming the delivery window of 8am - 12 noon. On June 16th, around 9am I get a call from Carol at the Lowes saying they never received the shipment and that it wouldn't be delivered today. I said that they confirmed yesterday and that I received the text message and she said "oh, that's just automated". How do you send out an automated text when you don't even have the product in hand? I was so annoyed because yet another day I had taken off work to receive a delivery that wasn't showing up. Austin called back and said the driver couldn't complete his route and now it supposedly would be Thursday to get the delivery.
At this point I cancelled the order. I'm very disappointed in the lack of follow through from the Pro team and having to make multiple calls and trips to the store to follow up and be assured we'd be receiving our delivery, only to sit around and wait and then be told they don't have it.
Meanwhile, I special ordered an appliance from Home Depot, and guess what? It arrived and was delivered exactly when they said it would.

I recently purchase new windows from Lowe’s for a sunroom. When I got the in home estimate for the windows. I asked about the shades that I had on the windows if they would fit. He asked if I bought the from Lowe’s. I said that I did from the ones they had in the store. He informed me that it would not be a problem the store can recut them. After the window install. I took to blinds to the Lowe’s in Burlington NC. And they informed me that the did not have the adapter to recut the blinds, they have lost it. I would need to call the other Lowe’s to see if they have one and go there. I called the Lowe’s in Mebane NC. They said they did have the adapter to cut the shades with out the box. I went to the Mebane NC. Store and the associate in the blind cutting area first told me that I could leave them because it would take 2 hours to cut the 8 shades. I said that I did not want to drive back home 30 mins to just come back. I will wait for them. She then said she has to have the item number for them to cut them again. Since she did not have the item number she could not cut them. I asked to speak to the store Manger. She left and came back. Then a person came over I asked if they were that Manger he said yes. But on his uniform it said Supervisor. I said I wanted to speak to the Manger. He said she was busy. I left the store. If I have to buy new shades it will not be from Lowe’s. Nor will my next window project. There was a problem with two of the windows and I have been waiting two months to get it fixed. Just got another message that it will be another three weeks.
