I purchased 12 bags of soil today. There was four or five bags on a pallet all busted and the remainder were stacked back under the shelf beyond the pallet. I asked the cashier if she could get me some help. No one ever came so I dug them out myself. Now as I am pushing my purchase to the car, a young male employee waved to from further down the parking lot. He came straight to the car offering to load everything for me. He was very polite and even apologized that I had to load them myself. You need more employees like Jake.

Mr Ken was so very helpful I was doing a doordash order and I was in the garden section and the 2 girls that were working the register didn't have a clue where any of the items were. I found Mr Ken inside and he went out of his way to come outside to help me find the items. He was absolutely exceptional! The kindest person and was so willing to help thank you so much for having him as an employee!!

Buyer Beware!! The Belmont Lowes cancelled my flooring order over 9 months ago without notifying me and did not return my the payment of FIVE THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED SEVENTY EIGHT DOLLARS ( $5678.00). For context: I placed a flooring installation order in the amount of $5678.00 for a rental property. Due to a tenant holdover situation, we were unable to access the rental property to allow the flooring installation. We immediately went into the store and spoke with the flooring manager (Chris) to let her know what was going on. The flooring manager assured us that she would hold the order until the situation was resolved. Once the situation was resolved we called to schedule the installation. That is when we learned hat the order had been cancelled 9 months earlier. Keep in mind that Lowes never notified us of the cancellation and never refunded my payment of $5678.00. Again we went into the store to discuss this matter. We spoke with the assistant manager Michael Franco who told us that Lowes made one attempt via telephone and email to contact us about the cancellation. When we asked why the money was not refunded for 9 months, he had no answer. Keep in mind that Lowe's cancellation policy states that refunds must be delivered to the customer within 10 days of cancellation. This stores action appears to be deceptive and fraudulent to say the least. In my situation it makes me wonder if the refund was processed and someone at the store kept the money after it was not claimed for a few months. The assistant manager (Michael Franco) tried to defend the situation by says that I may have received the one email and voicemail but chose not to come pick the refund up. That makes no sense at all that the store informed me that they cancelled my order but I chose to leave a refund of $5678.00 at the store for 9 months. I never got a notice via email or a voicemail. When I asked the store for proof that someone tried reaching me via email or voicemail, Michael Franco stated "I am not going to release that information". The real reason that he refuses to release the proof is because the outreached via email and voicemail never happened. Also, when is it acceptable for a company to make only one attempt to reach a customer and then keep their money for 9 months. When I informed the store manager that I would be expecting my refund within the next few days. He stated that it would take a couple of weeks for the refund to be processed and it would have to be processed as a store credit. The product is paid in full so how does a retail have the right to force a customer to receive a refund via store credit. After, I explained to him that I would not be purchasing the replacement flooring with Lowes, he then said the money had to be sent back to Synchrony Bank. AGAIN the product is paid in full so I do not owe Synchrony any money for this order. This was just another deceptive practice that the store is trying to use to delay my refund. At one point, he said the refund was sent back to Synchrony when the order was cancelled. I reached out to Synchrony and they confirmed that Lowes never refunded the order. Synchrony is currently doing an internal investigation into the matter to see why Lowes stated that the funds ($5678.00) was refunded to my account. When I inquired about compensation for my damages for Lowes lack of communication in returning my $5678.00 for over 9 months, Michael Franco stated they would not be offering any compensation for damages. I let him know that would contact the Better Business Bureau and Consumer Protection, and his reply was "All I have to do is send a response back to them and they will close the case. His customer service skills doesn't align with the the core values that Mr. Marvin Ellison has in place for Lowes. I provided him with a breakdown of the tangible damages resulting from Lowes keeping my money for 9 months. his reply was " I am still not going to compensate you for damages. THIS STORE NEEDS TO BE INVESTIGATED!!!!

Why stay open till 10 PM I went in the store before 9 o’clock. All the employees have basically checked out and don’t want to help. I dragged Rock all the way around that store and particularly the customer service desk didn’t really care to help could’ve done an easy checkout since I parked at the garden center, which is closer to the truck another lady at the checkout customer service station was just sitting there playing with her fingernails. I don’t mind the exercise but after a long day somebody doing their job would’ve been very appreciated a would have saved me time an effort.

My shopping experience with the sales rep at the Lowe’s in Belmont, NC was excellent, and the delivery team was professional, honest and friendly as well. Unfortunately, a dented dishwasher was installed. When it came time to correct the issue, the experience quickly went downhill. I waited three weeks for a replacement, only to be charged an additional $30 for Lowe’s mistake. I then spent 40 minutes on the phone trying to have the charge removed and was told to call another department. At that point, I decided my time wasn’t worth continuing to chase a charge that should never have happened and decided to simply pay it to move on. Lowe’s should not send damaged products, should not charge customers for replacing them, and should not expect customers to spend hours bouncing between departments to fix internal errors.
