- LOLana OAug 25, 20261.0Will no longer spend my money at world market store is Arden. Yesterday as soon as I entered one girl ran from behind her register to inform me that I had to leave because my five pound dog wasn’t allowed in the store. I was carrying him in my arms. I explained to her that I had several items on hold and wasn’t sure if I wanted more items or change some for other colors. It appears there’s a new policy of no dogs unless it’s a service animal. Within 3 mins another rude employee approached me and said I have five minutes to leave or I could put my car in the car and come back inside to shop. It’s animal cruelty to leave a dog in a car in extreme summer heat. Apparently these girls weren’t trained on how to speak to a customer. Retrain your rude staff members and remind them that some rules can be overlooked since I had my tiny dog in my arms. Please also remind the staff that it’s the customers money that pays their salary . No longer shopping at any world market store . I couldn’t even look at a large rug because I was being policed because of the no dog policy . The only pleasant person was the cashier at this location. She saw me carrying my tiny dog in my arms and didn’t understand why the other two employees were so aggressive. Any dog can be an emotional support dog and it’s against the law to ask for paperwork. Evidentially it’s more important sticking to the dog rule than accommodating a customer. I will not be purchasing anything at all from world market in the future .
