I already avoided this place but every once in awhile I need something late on a Saturday night. With the addition of the flock cameras we will just avoid it all together; there's another store across the street and then another one around the corner, and two more if I want to drive a little further so no reason to go here and support this.

Extremely disheartened that Lowe’s in Bozeman would trample on The right to privacy installing flock Surveillance cameras in their parking lot this information goes to a private company. They also have Bluetooth readers and suck all the data out of your phone your car, your Wi-Fi all the way down to a chip in your dog’s neck. Shame on you Lowe’s I will never shop there again.

I ordered a cooktop, double oven, and custom handle kits online weeks in advance. What followed was a total collapse of customer service across corporate and the local Bozeman store:
1. Incomplete Order & Delays: Store staff failed to give my handle kits to the installer, forcing me to cancel them. Delivery was then delayed by the installer.
2. False Claims & Bait-and-Switch: Customer Care told me I had to apply for a Lowe’s Credit Card to receive an active price match, promising a store re-bill post-installation so I wouldn't lose my out-of-stock oven.
3. Pro Desk Diversion: When I called the store for manager help, I was routed to the Pro Desk. They tried to pressure me into a Pro/Commercial credit account. The moment I insisted on a Consumer card for deferred financing, they abandoned the issue and passed me off.
4. Absurd Final Demands: A store associate ultimately called to demand that I un-install and physically haul a built-in double oven and cooktop back to the store just to process a paper re-bill and price adjustment—claiming price matches can't happen after installation (violating Lowe’s 30-day policy).
I took a hard credit inquiry under false representations, accommodated their delays, and followed every corporate instruction in good faith—only to be met with sales manipulation and complete refusal. Save yourself the stress and buy your major appliances elsewhere.

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s.
