  The staff is so NICE and HELPFUL!! When I go I am always so needy and every single staff member is willing and wanting to help me find what I need. They never seem frustrated or annoyed....they are just all smiles and wanting to help! I love you Meridian , Ms Hobby Lobby staff🫶

  How is this place operating in 2026 like it’s 1895?? Seriously, just go to Michael’s. No tap to pay. None. Not even the bare minimum. I shouldn’t have to dig through my wallet like I’m paying a toll in the old west. Then checkout… why are SKUs being typed in by hand?? I stood there forever while the cashier had to manually punch in every item. It’s not their fault, but it’s painful to watch and even worse to wait through. This is basic technology. Get a scanner. Also the music?? Please. I am begging. It makes the whole experience 10x more irritating. And the “40% off” thing—if it’s always 40% off, then that’s just the price. Calling it a sale is just fake urgency. Customer manipulation. Y’all claim christian values, but the store feels tense and understaffed. The employees seem exhausted, and honestly I don’t blame them. The employee’s at the michael’s down the road are delightful. Whole experience is slow, outdated, and way more frustrating than it needs to be.

  This afternoon was the second time I've been in the Meridian Hobby Lobby over the last couple of weeks. A couple of weeks ago when I was checking out, the cashier named Paula couldn't be bothered to speak or say thank you when she handed me my change. Not one word of acknowledgement to me as a customer. She did, however speak to the lady behind me who happened to be the same race as she was. I almost complained to the manager but chalked it up to maybe "Paula" was just having a bad day. This afternoon I had a different cashier, who first of all was having a conversation with another employee and her extremely loud response to what that employee said was "Oh Lawd, Jesus, you know that a damn lie!" Again, no acknowledgement to me as a customer as both employees continued their conversation. I'm not sure what's happened to the kindness of the employees at Hobby Lobby, but #1, CUSTOMERS are what provide their paychecks and #2 in the past most of the employees (except that one rude guy with the weird hair) have exemplified the kindness & courtesy of a Christian owned business. Good thing Michael's is just across the way from HL and Jerome Tank is not far from where I live. Between the two, I'm sure I can find what I need for future projects. HL obviously no longer needs my business.
