The company that became Fick Supply began in 1953 under the ownership of Lenn Burnell, who had a vision that wood waste could be repurposed rather than being disposed of in ravines or burned. Lenn began recycling the wood waste into sawdust and bark mulch and delivering it to local nurseries. In 1978, he sold the business to Danny and Becky Albrecht, who renamed the business Albrecht Hauling. In 1989, Danny passed away, leaving the business to Becky. Today, Fick Supply continues to be a leading supplier of bulk landscape products in the St. Louis region. It’s our goal to provide the highest quality products and the best customer service in the industry, ensuring customer satisfaction every time.
