Make sure they close your paint lids teenage kid behind the counter was too busy flirting with some girl than doing his job….. had my husband go get some paint mixed up and they didn’t close the lid all the way on our brown paint and it spilled all over him before he even left the store. Jeans Ruined, shoes ruined. Not even a sorry from them or anything. Absolutely ridiculous and my husband STILL had to pay full price on the half empty brown paint 🤯🤯🤯.

It’s about recent poor service I received at the Wentzville Lowe’s return center today. I attempted to return an item without a receipt, and one employee collected all of my information, including my driver’s license and card details. After that, another employee told me I had to call customer service at the 800 number instead of being helped in the store.
This was a frustrating and unprofessional experience. If the store was unable to complete the return, that should have been explained clearly from the start before collecting my personal information. Instead, I was left feeling dismissed and inconvenienced.
I am requesting that Lowe’s review this incident, clarify the correct procedure for no-receipt returns, and let me know whether my return can still be resolved properly. I also ask that you address the customer service failure at this location so other customers do not have the same experience.

Went to the Wentzville store today to exchange a water filter for my fridge because I bought the wrong Samsung filter. The filter was still 100% in the original new packaging and didn’t even have a scratch on the box. After arriving I was greeted by two bickering employees. Once they stopped bickering I was asked to step up. I explained that I wanted to either exchange the filters (same price) or get store credit that I could use immediately to purchase the correct filter. Have done this countless times in the past with no issues. Upon me asking that the customer service representative stated “we can’t do that we can only refund to you original payment”. I asked what was the reason why he couldn’t and he stated “because we’re not going to wait 5-20 minutes for a manager and the refund is quicker”. I replied stating that 5-20 minutes was quicker than 3-5 days. After he radioed the manager he was given an approval code over the radio and still couldn’t do an exchange or gift card. Before I could ask to speak with anyone I was handed a receipt and told the refund was complete. This will probably be the last time I go to Lowe’s as there are plenty of options around town that treat their customers WAYYYYY better. Used to rave about Lowe’s and how I’ve always had great experiences but this time it was the opposite.
