  The new owners of the company came out to my home to assess a repair from a previous job. I received a bid for the repairs of $150. After numerous emails, texts, schedulings, reschedulings, and a no call no show. Brittany (owner) sends me an email saying that it will now cost $400 minimum to do the repairs. The whole process began in April and it’s currently July 26th. Very frustrating!! I question the integrity of a company who operates like this.

  This is a great family-owned business! The owner gave me a competitive bid, worked with the crew to install the curbing, and sealed it a week later. Truly a man that cares about his product! And a year later it still looks fantastic. I highly recommend Masterstone Hardscapes!

  6 months later... job still isn't done, and what they have done it is really bad. I contacted them about a retaining wall and patio in November of 2025. They came out at that time, prepped the area, which included taking down a section of fencing, and they just left the screws and parts for the fence on the ground all winter long (lost several of the screws). I had to contact them multiple times in early March, to see when they'd continue work. Even though there were multiple weeks with no freezing weather they didn't restart until the 3rd week of April, after I had to ask multiple times. The wall they finally did is nothing like the example retaining wall on their website that I pointed out to them several times ahead of starting. It's not level. It's not square to the house. It bows / bulges out in the middle. And it's not colored at all like the examples provided from their website. The example retaining walls on the website are not from the current ownership of this business, and it's obvious.

  BEWARE! This once may have been a great company, but with the new ownership, maybe it has something to do with it. The work is awful. Hire them to do landscape edging, and two patios. The communication wasn’t great so we waited around for several days without hearing anything and I get ran delays happen, but the lack of communication was frustrating waiting around. When they came to do the forms none of the measurements were correct. One patio is sloped to the house and both pads were very out of square one being over 8 inches. They then tried to gaslight us by telling us as an optical illusion and they kept saying they would come fix it and didn’t. They would’ve moved forward with concrete and none of it would’ve been correct if we hadn’t fired them. That was a first for us. They also didn’t take the old concrete pad or pavers but shoved it under the deck for us to deal with. They keep referring to a contract after we fired them but when they send out estimates, it’s a screenshot and nothing else.

  Mike & crew did a great job delivering a mowing strips around our home. Absolutely outstanding workmanship.
