I ordered a grill on Friday and paid for delivery for Saturday. I wake up Saturday to an e-mail saying my order was delivered to my front door. The picture of the home included in the e-mail isn't my home. So I googled Lowes Warrensburg and called the store number. I had to sit on the phone for 15-minutes while the AI assistant repeatedly told me my order had been delivered. I finally got through to a store associate and asked for a supervisor. After another 10-minutes I get a supervisor who tells me that Door Dash delivered the order and I would need to contact Door Dash to fix it. Obviously, that didn't set well with me. I didn't order through Door Dash. I didn't ask for Door Dash to deliver my items. I recreated the order to see if at any point in time the website said Door Dash would deliver the order. At no point in time does the website state Door Dash would deliver the order. I checked the e-mails I received for my order. Nowhere does it say Door Dash is going to deliver my order.
The Supervisor, Matty, was condescending. He made me feel like I am in the wrong for being upset that Lowes used Door Dash to deliver the item I paid for. No one wants Door Dash to deliver their expensive, heavy items. Not a single person in this country wants a Door Dash driver delivering their expensive, heavy items. Absolutely no one.
So I call customer care. They figure out that the order was delivered to a completely different address. While I was on the phone with customer care, I received a phone call and voicemail from another supervisor at Lowes in Warrensburg. In the voicemail they ask me if I can go get the grill from my neighbor. Except it's not my neighbor. I have no idea where they delivered the grill but it wasn't to me or my neighbor.
I'm not going to be purchasing from Lowes again. I spent 4-hours of my time dealing with a grill that wasn't delivered to me when the delivery was not my problem to deal with. I paid Lowes for an item. Lowes decided I wasn't worth them having their employees deliver it. I lost hours of my time dealing with their mistake.
The sheer gall to call me and ask me to go and get the item they delivered to the wrong address. From a customer service perspective, that's absolutely insane. I don't see myself ordering from Lowes again.

I bought a clothes dryer from Lowe's, it arrived defective and the delivery team didn't say a word, they left as if it was good to go. After 48 hours they do not want to hear from you about your delivery and gave us the run around and told us we were 2 hours too late to report it for an exchange. It took a week to get someone to come out and say, oh it's defective and finally get an exchange as if we didn't tell them initially. I don't recommend getting an appliance from Lowe's!

Please think carefully or research your options before renting the carpet cleaners at Lowe’s. At least three of them are damaged/do not turn on. I had to make two trips to Lowe’s today just to swap them out. If they were truly tested routinely this could have been prevented. The manager Matthew there was also unkind during the process of refunding. I asked to be compensated and he quickly declined. Another manager explained the policy has changed and told me to call the corporate office. Regardless of changing the compensation process, that still should be relayed to the customer instead of immediately declining. If you decide to rent from this store, I urge you to MAKE them test it in store first. Don’t go through the hassle I had to go through.
