  The technician was polite, professional, and arrived on time. I am not questioning the technician’s expertise. My concern is that a final step in the winterization process—leaving the drain valve open—may have been missed in this case that caused the damage. The company should have handled this properly. I requested an on-site inspection from a company manager for an objective assessment, but instead received a response that included incorrect information. For example, it was stated that the leak was coming from the backflow, which appeared to be an assumption rather than the actual source. The technician and field manager performed the winterization and advised that all water had been fully removed using high air pressure. Based on this, I believed the system had been properly winterized and had no reason to expect residual water could remain and damage the drain component over winter. My understanding is that after proper winterization, the drain valve should be left open so any remaining water can fully drain and avoid freezing damage. I relied on the professionals’ expertise and was told the work was completed correctly. However, a broken drain component was discovered when the sprinkler system was activated in the spring.

  I have been dealing with Pro Outdoor for many years now, and I’ve always been impressed with the quality of their services and the courtesy and professionalism of their associates. Today’s visit was no exception. Angel Garcia showed up on time and immediately went to work to try to resolve an issue I had with one of my irrigation stations. After close to an hour of hard work, he reported to me on the nature of the issue I was dealing with. Although I chose not to have the issue repaired on this visit, Angel was very very thorough in explaining the problems to me and my options going forward. I am happy to recommend Pro Outdoor for your lawn irrigation needs without any reservations.

  Jacob was absolutely phenomenal! He took the time to walk me through every irrigation zone, showed me where all the spigots and valves were located, helped me get the app set up and patiently answered every question I had. He never made me feel rushed and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. His knowledge, professionalism, and attention to detail were outstanding. You can tell he truly cares about making sure his customers are comfortable using their system. 10/10 service. I highly recommend Jacob to anyone needing irrigation service!
