    MC Appliances admittedly has a great selection and sales team with excellent prices, but make sure you do the delivery and installation yourself if you can. Although I’m sure there are plenty of other wholesalers or great deals in the STL area. I confirmed with the salesperson that they would be able to call me before starting to arrive at my address. Got a call in the morning telling me they would be somewhere between 1:30-3:30, and asked again for them to call me BEFORE heading to my address. With the new iPhone update, their calls didn’t go through my cell because they kept hanging up before my phone even rang. Didn’t have that problem this morning. They finally waited long enough for my phone to actually ring — their first “call” was at 3:07, I answered at 3:10, barely three minutes. The man who answered the phone was EXTREMELY rude, because when I asked “are you on your way?” He answered “We’re already here. It took you 15 minutes to answer the phone.” I told them I was confused because I expected a call BEFORE they left, and I was on my way and had to literally drop everything. This is extremely upsetting because of his rude tone, blatant lie, impatience, and disregarding my request that I made super important to call me BEFORE they were on the way. I already planned to have an extremely late lunch so when they called me BEFORE they left to go to my address, I would be available for them. But instead they called me when they were already there without actually letting the phone ring through, waited less than five minutes, then had an egregiously aggressive and rude tone with me when I answered, then got up and left even after I had informed them I was on the way. Another representative left me a voicemail that said they were “unable to reach me” and would “try” to get to me tomorrow. I have to call back while I’m literally pulling into my driveway, absolutely flustered and upset, and I admittedly struggled to keep my cool with the employee on the phone. I honestly feel ashamed of how I spoke to the employee who answered the phone, but she did have the delivery people come back and resolve the issue, so I apologized and appreciate her a lot. I made sure to supervise and record the entire delivery process to ensure proper delivery and installation due to my trust with the business being tainted from this experience. I had cash tips and water bottles on the counter for a smooth delivery process, but those obviously stayed put

    Read this. Amazing service, above and beyond. I bought a refrigerator defrost timer from Ebay. As usual, the part wasn't right. Called this place Saturday morning. He was out of the part. BUT: He spent nearly a half hour helping me on the phone anyway! Looked up my fridge. Told me why the part wouldn't work. Told me what part to get. Walked me through how to troubleshoot the problem. Then, instead of trying to order the part, he got online and found a place near me that had the part I needed in stock. Never tried to to sell me on a service call either. I'm always looking for that tiny handful of good places for service. This one made the list today.

    They had a selection of fridges. I needed a smaller one to fit a 31 inch wide space. It was clean and running and came with a 90 day warranty. All the staff was very helpful, from the sales men, to the loaders, workers, etc. I would recommend this company for used appliances fast and reasonably priced. I did not get delivery; I picked it up myself.
