My mom purchased a washing machine from Lowe’s a couple of years ago, and also purchased the super extended warranty because she felt at her age it was a good idea. In early April, her machine quit working. She routinely runs laundry because she’s 81 and has a few health problems that make her life “interesting.” God Bless old age. Anyway, she’s been told to call multiple numbers, always diverted to a new number, new call center or new person. The first repairman arrived on 4/18/26 and told her the pump was out (or whatever this is what she gathered from the convo; I also tell her to not eat sugar and she still goes to Krispy Kreme because they give out free donuts). I digress. She was told someone would follow up with her. She called a few more numbers, visited the store where a manager told her “she could wait,” and continued to daily check in with others, to no avail. Today on 5/18/26 (yes - a MONTH with no washing machine for a wobbly 81 year old woman) a repairman stopped in to tell her that her pump and a sensor was bad and that she’d hear from someone in 3-5 days. This is ridiculous! I know my mother’s a lot sometimes and I’m sure not all of those phone calls ended in a friendly way. But let’s be real - she’s 81, type 2 diabetic with arthritis we aren’t allowed to talk about and sometimes she calls the dog Amber (her name is Autumn). She’s being ignored because she doesn’t have the will to fight and can’t navigate the phone system. I’m a full grown adult that has trouble helping because no one really wants to help. Why pay for the extended warranties? Why purchase from here at all? At least when I purchased my set from Carthage Lowe’s the salesman gave me peppermints and good advice.

Lowes has been my go to for many years. I've used them for work and home projects. They've always treated me fair

Everything is good, but if you're going to have a sale on something the workers should know what's going on. They did take very good care of me and the lockers are a plus for small pick up orders!!!

Ordered a 600$ tool chest early one weekend morning with a delivery time of 2 PM at the latest. Never arrived. It was about 6 PM before a note was made in the app. Next day my wife and I are at work and Lowe’s randomly puts it on my front porch the next day without any contact or notification of any kind. Ratty torn box. Inexcusable in 2026. Never again from Lowe’s.

Lowe’s is my go to for most all my home improvement projects. More often than not ,they have everything I’m looking for. I do not appreciate that Lowe’s has eliminated the humans doing check out. You’re now required to bring up your own items, there is a person to watch and help if you get stuck or something doesn’t work right. Pricing is good and their inventory is typically aligned with what you see online .
