The technicians showed up right on time and were able to help me determine where the issue was with the sprinklers and get it all fixed. They even went over the entire irrigation system with me and went over what changes I should make. I plan on continuing to work with Watersmith and definitely recommend them based on my experience.
Frequently Asked Questions About Watersmith Irrigation
How often should I service my irrigation system in Missouri?
For optimal performance in Missouri's climate, we recommend servicing your irrigation system as follows: a spring start-up inspection in March or April, a mid-season check in June or July, fall winterization in October or November, and annual backflow testing as required by law. Our team at Watersmith Irrigation is ready to assist you in maintaining your system's peak performance. Please contact us to schedule your service appointments.
What are signs my sprinkler system needs repair?
Several indicators suggest your sprinkler system may require repair: unexpectedly high water bills, uneven lawn watering, reduced water pressure, leaking sprinkler heads, brown patches in your lawn, sprinklers not rotating properly, and water pooling in certain areas. If you notice any of these signs, we encourage you to contact our expert team at Watersmith Irrigation for professional sprinkler installation or repair services.

In our experience, retaining walls constructed with quality materials and proper drainage systems can endure for 50 to 100 years in Missouri's climate. Our walls are specifically engineered to withstand the region's freeze-thaw cycles and heavy rainfall. We utilize durable materials such as concrete blocks, natural stone, or brick. To discuss building a retaining wall on your property with our experienced contractors, please contact Watersmith Irrigation.
What types of sprinkler heads are best for different areas of my yard?
For an effective sprinkler installation, we typically recommend: rotary heads for expansive lawn areas, spray heads for smaller spaces, drip irrigation for gardens and flower beds, multi-stream rotators for sloped areas, and bubbler heads for trees and shrubs. If you need guidance on the most suitable options for your specific lawn, we invite you to contact Watersmith Irrigation for personalized advice.
How does backflow testing work, and why is it required?
Backflow testing is an annual safety inspection mandated by city utilities to safeguard the public water supply from contamination. Our certified technicians conduct thorough testing and provide the necessary documentation to the city. To schedule your backflow testing or discuss this process with one of our qualified irrigation and landscaping contractors, please contact Watersmith Irrigation.
Are irrigation systems worth the investment?
Irrigation systems generally offer excellent return on investment through multiple benefits: 30-50% water savings via efficient distribution (as reported by the Department of Energy), increased property value, healthier and more attractive landscaping, reduced maintenance time, and prevention of over or under watering.
