Family Tree Nursery brings six decades of Kansas City growing expertise to the Liberty and Clay County community. Family-owned since 1964, we grow almost every bedding plant we sell at our own greenhouses, and our horticulturists scout trial gardens nationwide for the best varieties for our tough growing conditions. At our Liberty store, you'll find native perennials, fruit trees, vegetables, trees, shrubs, houseplants, tropicals, and annuals—plus one of the Northland's largest selections of pottery and planters, with curated home décor and gifts. Our Liberty store is home to Café Equinox, a botanically inspired café serving coffee, pastries, and more. We host events year-round, including a Christmas Open House and Liberty Summer Festival.
