I ordered a Dewalt circular saw and reciprocating saw on their website yesterday because I saw they were discounted to $49 each for Father's Day. My order was confirmed, and my card was charged. Later in the day, my order was canceled without anyone contacting me. Today I spent over an hour on the phone with customer care and spoke with three different employees who couldn't explain why the order was canceled. They then transferred me to the customer service rep at the Lee's Summit store, who also told me they could not see why the order was canceled. The Lee's Summit employee, Leon, then told me she talked to her assistant manager, who said they could price-match my order if I came into the store immediately. I then took an hour off work and drove all the way to the store, only to be told by Leon that they could not price match because corporate had canceled the order. They care more about profits than their customers. Leon was extremely nice and professional, but Lowe's was not. At least honor the deal you sold to me instead of canceling the order because you made a mistake on your website. I will not be going to Lowe's anytime soon unless they fix this.......Even the manager wasn't helpful and didn't acknowledge that I took time out of my day to drive to the store to get the deal I was promised. Why wouldn't they check with the manager before telling me they would price-match the items???? I cannot begin to say how disappointed I am.

Me and my mother have came here multiple times and had an ok experience. Today we came and ordered 10 bags of top soil. The entrance to the loading zone is slightly confusing, it looks like there could be multiple places where they could load. We drove by and didn't see the soil we paid for, so we went to the other area. We saw an employee and drove towards him, as we approached him he didn't seem to notice us even though he watched us pull up. My mother got out the car to ask him if there was going to be anyone to help us load the soil into the car. He responded with an attitude that made it seem like he could care less. He explained to us that people will be over there soon while they finish something up. We went back to the original loading area we waited there for about 15 minutes and received no assistance. We decided that we where going to return the soil and go elsewhere. Once we got inside and tried do the return a nice female employee decided she would go get the soil, we where in the fence about it but ultimately decided that we would go through with the order. We where extremely disappointed in this location, we could have taken our business elsewhere.

Too often reviews are left with negative things to say. However, I want to highlight an OUTSTANDING job done by Derek, Dustin, Joe and Trevor. They need a raise or a bonus (or both)!
My sister and I did an order pickup for carpet and it was VERY heavy. They took the time to help us load the giant roll into our truck and they continued excellent customer service by helping us strap the carpet down. I cannot say enough about what a great job they did. Totally above and beyond and I am so amazed. Home Depot, who???
Special shoutout to Jamie in flooring for all of her help in the purchase of the carpet as well.
Thank you Lowe’s Lees Summit for one of the best customer service experiences I’ve had in a while.

I have generally had positive experiences with Lowe's, which is why this situation has been so disappointing.
I purchased a brand-new Whirlpool dishwasher from the Lowe's store in Lee's Summit, Missouri. I took it home the day of purchase and installed it the following weekend. Upon first use, the dishwasher immediately began leaking and displaying an error code. After troubleshooting the issue, it was ultimately confirmed by Whirlpool's authorized service technician that the dishwasher had a manufacturing defect in the tub seam and that the entire tub would need to be replaced.
My disappointment is not that the appliance was defective. Manufacturing defects can happen with any brand. My disappointment is with Lowe's response to a product that was defective right out of the box.
When I contacted Lowe's, I was informed that because more than 48 hours had passed since purchase and the dishwasher was no longer in its unopened packaging, the store would not accept a return or exchange. As a result, I was left to work through the manufacturer's warranty process on a dishwasher that had never functioned properly from the day it was installed.
As a Lowe's Gold Member who has spent a significant amount of money with the company in a relatively short period of time, I expected more flexibility and customer advocacy when dealing with a verified factory defect. Instead, I found myself stuck between the retailer and the manufacturer while waiting weeks for warranty repairs on a brand-new appliance.
The Whirlpool technician confirmed the dishwasher requires a complete tub replacement due to a manufacturing defect, and the replacement part is currently backordered with an estimated lead time of 4 to 8 weeks. It is frustrating to purchase a new appliance and immediately face a lengthy repair process when the product was defective from the beginning.
I understand that policies exist for a reason, but customer service should also consider the circumstances. A customer who purchases a new appliance in good faith and discovers a verified factory defect shortly after installation should not feel abandoned by the retailer.

I have waited about 2 years to post this but I'm done being quiet. I'm repairing my flooring once again because Lowe's subcontacts their flooring installation to a subpar company by the name of Marc's Flooring.
I had the following issues with Marc's Flooring:
#1 The installer pulled a no show on the installation day.
#2 They promised me a week later they would be there first thing in the morning. Nope almost noon when they showed up.
#3 Lowe's sold me 6 buckets of adhesive and the installers used less than 1, and it's a huge kitchen.
#4 The installers didn't put my fridge and freezer back into place and when I called and spoke to the supervisor he said he would be out to fix that and discovered that the guys had ripped a HUGE chunk out of the floor and just left the freezer on top of it!!!
#5 The flooring started bubbling up within the first month because there wasn't enough adhesive used to hold it down. I have been having to poke holes in my floor to squirt glue in and stick the bubbles down.
Over all it was and continues to be a very frustrating experience. I'll never buy flooring from Lowe's again.
