  Do not go to this business if you believe in ethical treatment of workers, workers rights, and disabled people’s rights. They flagrantly ignore the accommodations of their staff members, and higher-up management does nothing but tighten restrictions on people who have disabilities. They do not allot people who struggle with standing for long periods a way to sit down, and they attempt to punish anyone with a disability. The management does not give understanding to the physically or psychologically disabled, nor are they educated on the social model of disability, and they treat their employees that are disabled like a danger and attempt to subtly disembody them. If you believe disabled people deserve accommodations, equality, and the ability to make a living wage, find another wares store and take your business elsewhere.

  I was with my daughter, we went to look at window air conditioners. Mine quit working and the heat can be unbearable. We found exactly what we needed. They have a good variety. It was a nice experience and now I'll be able to rest comfortably through the summer heat. Lowe's has never let me down. Thank You

  Purchased AGE trash compactor May 2026 it was installed by their installer after arrival as it had to be shipped they didn’t have it in stock when purchasing the unit I was told there would be a $200 delivery An installation fee.and I asked them why when all you’d have to do is plug it in unless it came disassembled. I was told by the sales person that was just their policy. This was my fourth compactor since building our home. I was not home when it was installed my husband who could not hear well was there the gentleman said all he had to do was press on the pedal and it would compact but my husband did not hear the terrible noise coming out of the unit. When I got home I did hear the grinding noise it sounded like a Mac truck. I called Lowes and said there was a problem four days later they sent someone to look at it who stated it was his first ever compactor he heard the loud noise and he said well it does compact and I said but the noise is unusual either a bearing or something is bad. So he said he would fill out the paperwork and if I was unhappy I could call the manager of Lowes and he would make it right. I did ask him why he thought the charge was $200 when all he had to do was plug it in And he didn’t know I called Lowes service people they said I would have to have it picked up taken to the store and then pick out another one paid the difference in price and it would be delivered and installed so I said they’re not going to make any compensation for the problems that we’ve encountered and they said no visit the store manager I went in to see the store manager who argued every point I showed him a post by Lowes on the Internet stating for any Appliance there is not a charge to deliver and set up the unit and he said oh well yours is not an appliance it’s a compact and we don’t stock it so it’s not on the floor so that policy is only for things that are on the floor and I said if it’s not an appliance what do you call it paint? Why do you keep it in the Appliance section? He would not compensate for any of the charges nor would he say that he would have me bring the unit have the unit picked up call GE is what he told me to do and they will give me a return authorization. Call GE they said they do not exchange units the warranty is only to repair the unit and I had to get a repairman out there. A Repair division whom I had to call stated they had no repairman that knew how to work on such a unit in our area and they would have to get back with me. So I am now waiting on a repair not a return not an exchange not a refund. If this isn’t the worst customer service I have ever seen I’d like to know if you had one worse it looks like I may be left with a brand new unit that’s malfunctioning which I mentioned to GE and Lowes and no one would take the responsibility of Replacement if I can I’m going to record the noise and you tell me what you think
