- SSSaiklawMay 9, 20261.0Came here excited honestly, I love hobby lobby, have for years. But the interaction I got yesterday deserves a one star. Came in saw some comforters for sale that were on sale. Went to the king sized one it didn't have an orange tag with a sale price, even though it was the exact same brand as the twin, and queen size on the shelf which both had orange sales tags. I went to the register to ask for a price check to see if it was on sale. The cashier was reluctant to check the price and said "if it doesn't have the orange tag it's not on sale" and I said "okay so no price checks?" If she had just said no I would've put it back and just called it a day. It looked like they had a rough day that day, and I don't hold anything against the workers. The cashier proceeded to call over someone to check the price, and it eneded up being on sale (long story short it was part of the discontinued comforters that were on sale for 75 percent off) and a guy in a gray shirt, assuming a manager confirmed it. They proceeded to ring me up as if I was going to buy it but I wanted to check with my fiancee if she liked the blanket. So I said "Let me ask if my fiancee likes it and wants us to buy it" and the guy in the gray shirt said "She better buy it". First off, it was me asking the price, not my fiancée, secondly, sorry for spending money at your store. I won't make that mistake again.
