Mr. C's Vacuums and Home Center is a family owned business serving the Greater Kansas City area since 1972. We service all makes and models of vacuum cleaners, sewing machines and residential shampooers. All of our technicians are factory trained and certified. We also carry an extensive inventory of parts, including many hard to find or obsolete items. We have over 100 different vacuum cleaners to choose from on our show floor, which allows our customers to find the perfect machine to fit their needs and budget. Customers always come first at Mr. C’s Vacuum and Sew Center. We understand you do not stay in business for over 50 years without outstanding customer service before, during and after you leave our store.

- RARebekah AycockSep 5, 20265.0I went in yesterday for help with my bissell pet hair vacuum I bought on Amazon. It worked great until the motor just gave out after just a few months 😅 man who helped me was very helpful and knowledgeable, learned about some much better options out there.
- AHalways happyAug 28, 20261.0I brought my singer 401a in for cleaning after recently purchasing it. The cost for cleaning is a flat fee of $120. When it was my machines turn to be cleaned they called and said it didn't need any parts but that apparently it had been sitting unused for a while and few few things had "seized" like the stitch selector and I need to pay$140 instead of $120. I reluctantly agreed. I bought it home and it took me maybe 3 or four weeks till I found time to sit down to sew with it. It would not turn on. I'm very familiar with machine as my family had one exactly like it, I learned to sew on it, and even made my own wedding gown with this model singer sewing machine. So when it didn't turn on I thought bulbs burnt out. Nope. Insteadi looked at the power cord contacts. They were filthy with thick green gunk!!! After some quick research I found I need a new power cord. However this most definitely should have been caught when they charged me $140. I called today to convey my dissatisfaction, and the guy at the shop said, "oh he probabably just missed it". What else did he "miss" for $140???? Update: Now that I bought a new power cord, I find more bad news. The stitch selector is still seized.

- BMBonita Van MeterJun 5, 20265.0Took my Kirby for a new belt. He took out of my trunk, put a new belt on, and returned back to my trunk. Took no more than 15 minutes. Very friendly and appreciate the service! Will definitely go again if I need bags or any other repair.
- DDDavid DeckertJan 6, 20195.0I actually wasn't wanting or expecting to buy a new vacuum but rather looking for some repair services. The associate was very knowledgeable and prompt in answering our questions. We ended up doing a quick belt repair on the old vacuum but also ended up purchasing a new Riccar vacuum. It took a little time to convince us that the purchase made sense but it's been a couple of weeks since our visit and they were right. If it's possible to enjoy vacuuming and a vacuum we are there....thanks for the sound advice!
