  we just had our pool deck replaced by hoffman concrete. we signed our contract the end of june, we where told it would be 12 weeks before they would start. we had some really hot weather this summer, there where some delays , but mark the owner stayed in touch with us, with updates on schedule. once they started the project went smooth . their demo crew was fast, they have the right equipment for the job, made it look easy. then the pour crew came in a day after , it took two days to pour. but the finish is beautiful, well worth the wait. the staff was all amazing. they were a fun bunch to be around , we really enjoyed it. i wish all the other projects we have had done around our house went this smooth.

  "we couldn’t get anyone to do our walk out basement walls and steps. the project had very poor access , so it was all hand work. we hired hoffman to do our project. these guys are hard workers. it was hot out, they worked about 5 hours a day on average , due to the heat. demo’d everything first , dug and set footing , had it inspected, poured the same day. next day set the foundation wall forms , had that inspected , poured the next morning. was gone a week , came back stripped forms , set and poured steps and landing . they cleaned up job, and came back a week later and installed new black aluminum handrails. project turned out good. A+"

  Five Stars is an insult to Mark. He deserves five galaxies. I hired Hoffman Concrete to pour a standard patio, but what I witnessed was a spiritual awakening. The crew dug the frame with the precision of neurosurgeons, but everything changed when the wet mix hit the ground. That is when Mark stepped up. Mark doesn't just use a bull float; he communes with it. The man pulled out his dual-trowel mag-aluminum float, and the clouds literally parted. With a single, elegant sweep, he smoothed out the aggregate like he was buttering a piece of warm toast for the gods. I watched him tilt the pitch of that blade with a flick of his wrist so subtle, so full of ancient wisdom, that my backyard’s drainage issues vanished out of sheer respect. At one point, a stray leaf fell from my oak tree, aiming directly for the pristine, wet surface. Mark didn't blink. He extended the pole, glided the bull float under the leaf mid-air, caught it, flipped the tool, and finished a perfect ultra-flat cream finish in the same motion. My neighbor looked over the fence, saw Mark’s flawless technique, and immediately burst into tears of joy. The concrete is now cured, and it is so perfectly level that NASA called to ask if they could calibrate their satellite lasers on it. If you want ordinary concrete, call anyone else. If you want Mark to manipulate the laws of physics and give you a patio smoother than a marble statue oiled by angels, call Hoffman Concrete.

  Definitely would recommend Hoffman Concrete for any concrete needs! We were finally ready to get a patio installed at our new house and ended up also requiring a retaining wall. The work Mark and his crew put in is nothing short of TOP NOTCH. Every interaction with this company - from Mark, to Jessica at the office, to the workers who built the wall, poured and finished the concrete, and sealed the patio afterwards - was amazing. Everyone was super friendly and my only regret is that we don't need something else done in the near future! So, again, if you're looking for a reputable company with great people who do an excellent job, you're looking at the right company's reviews!
