Went to the Arnold location this evening to buy paint. The young man behind the counter was courteous and extremely helpful. That whole experience changed when I went to the self checkout. I needed some assistance with retrieving my Lowes Rewards. Asked the associate how to to enter it in the scanner. She acted like she was doing me a favor and it appeared that I was disturbing her. Not at all friendly and helpful as most of the associates I have interacted with. When we left my wife commented that she looked like she was just standing there to collect a paycheck. Never been treated like this before when I have interacted with other associates. She had no interest in helping and no people skills

The last few times I've been to Lowes they are out of items. They also are becoming more like Rickles in that they don't have quality lumber so you can't buy that there. Their selection has been cut back on many things except for clothes and dog food. They are not really a serious DIY store anymore.
