  The absolute worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with in my life. Delivered a dented refrigerator. It will now take another week to get it because they can’t pin down a delivery time after 4pm (people have jobs). The people at the store don’t care and the people you talk to on their phone service are even more difficult. I would give zero stars if I could.

  I got a promo for free delivery in Rochester, so I used it. The delivery driver took a picture of the items on my doorstep. I opened the door not a minute later, but several items were gone. They stole my items. Lowe’s store says they can’t do anything. The delivery service opened a “case”, but internet feedback seems to indicate nothing ever gets done about that. Lowe’s corporate won’t do anything. Filing a police report, but unlikely anything will get done there either. Ridiculous that they won’t simply refund me for the stolen items and follow up with their own fulfillment of their own contracted delivery driver. Never going to Lowe’s again. Also unrelated but relevant to my one star - five years ago I was in their garden center in the evening and got locked in, took 20 minutes to call someone to get me out. How they locked doors without announcing closure or sweeping the aisles is crazy.

  Terrible. Very Disappointing Experience — Especially With a Serious Safety Concern I purchased an oven range from this store that developed an apparent electrical/wiring problem and actually began smoking. This was not a minor cosmetic issue or inconvenience—it was a potentially serious safety concern involving a major appliance in my home. I contacted the store expecting them to stand behind the product they sold me and help resolve the situation. Instead, I spent an excessive amount of time on hold, had difficulty reaching someone who could actually help, and ultimately was told that the store would not accept the range as a return. I was instructed to contact the manufacturer and deal with the problem through them instead. What disappoints me most is the lack of concern and assistance after the sale. When an appliance you recently purchased begins smoking because of an apparent electrical issue, a customer should not have to spend hours trying to get help and then be passed off to someone else. Major appliances are expensive purchases. I chose to buy from a retail store partly because I expected there would be customer service and support if something went wrong. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. The store was happy to sell me the range, but when I had a potentially serious problem with it, I felt completely unsupported. I would think very carefully before purchasing another major appliance from this store.

  Horrible experience. Had 5 doors installed, and a whole crap ton of issues. -Installer showed up, but forgot the doors. -Doors wouldn't close, so installer came back, unscrewed hinge, and put a wad of duct tape behind it. -Exposed wood left on door handle plate on all doors. Instead of aligning correctly, just chipped away at the frame to make it fit. -All doors were missing required framing screws. -The back door was never insulated, I noticed light coming through the trim, and to my surprise, I could stick my hand through the side and touch my siding from inside. -Multiple cracks in drywall and paint. -Months worth of documented, and ignored emails to support Lowes admitted they stopped working with that installer. Lowes conveniently kept telling me they would 'call me back' - which purposefully pushed me outside of any warranty window. I've contacted the BBB, and have been repeatedly told there's nothing they can do. All I wanted was a refund of labor costs. Since these doors were installed, I've replaced 2 of them already. Terrible policies and false promises. Support is a joke.

  We ordered a washer and dryer from you guys. First day they showed up to connect everything, no stacking kit was ordered. It would be super great if you could have a hardstop asking if customer plans to stack the units AND if so, the stacking kit is added to the order. NEXT time they came, we noticed that we had a 4 prong cord ordered, TWO DAYS before they were coming for the second delivery we called multiple times confirming the people would have the 3 prong cord on the truck with them. Every single person we chatted confirmed it was on the truck & we would have no issues. Well guess what, they show up a second time unable to hook up our appliances AGAIN due to NOT having the correct cord on the truck. So now we are having to reschedule a third time.... 3 weeks without laundry units was super fun being a family of 4. This is the last time we ever order appliances from you guys, very disappointed & will be sure to spread word around for others to be careful as well. The communication and organization sucks, I truly hope you get a better system in the future. Gave two stars instead of one only because Paul at your Rochester location was super helpful in setting up our third delivery date & understood our frustration. I know this is third party delivery service but think Lowe's needs to look more into the cluster of the appliance delivery process.
