Ordered a new grill. It arrived damaged. They offered a discount and I accepted. I never received the discount and after receiving the replacement part from the manufacturer (72 hours later) and started to unwrap the rest of the pieces discovered more damage. I called customer service and was hung up on. Called back and was told that I only had 48 hours after delivery to have the grill replaced and I was stuck with a grill that has creases in the sheet metal that should be straight. WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE EVER!

So disappointed in Lowe’s. I have loved them for years. Bought a microwave, we needed to order a piece for outside to match the house, different size pipe to vent outside. Because this microwave site about three inches out from cabinets and it’s in the corner, we could open a cabinet door next to it, or open microwave door. I never took it out of the box, just the manual. I brought it back with my receipt 32 days after we bought it. We tried a few things to try to fit it in before we gave up. Strict 48 hour return policy on appliances. I went to the store twice. Each manager didn’t even ask a single question or even look at the box, just “nothing I can do, set by corporate, 48 hours”. Just repeated it over and over. I understand they don’t make the policy, but just try to be helpful. It wasn’t on my receipt and no one told us it was 48 hours. As I’m leaving she said, if you put it on a Lowe’s card, longer return window. Not helpful. I called customer service, they said returns are at the store managers discretion and I had to return it to the store. First purchase in a minor kitchen remodel and I will not be buying my countertops, sink, cooktop, and backsplash. $400, and they wouldn’t even look at the box or as questions. With Home Depot so close and we drive all the way to Lowe’s and they are not helpful. I will not go back. I almost feel like I was scammed. Just let people know if it’s such a short window. They literally have the exact same ones there to sell. No give at all, unless you used their card? Still dumbfounded by this whole experience. One guy at the desk as least tried to tell the manager over the walkie before she wouldn’t come up to see me that it looked like it was never touched and I had my original receipt. Both managers just ask a single question and repeated the phrase over and over, go by the 48 hour policy set by corporate, nothing we can do.

I used to like coming here, but have since noticed Flock cameras in their parking lot. Now, I much prefer any other hardware store whenever possible.
Flock and similar services (Axon, etc...) are horrendous with respect to privacy, and in more ways than you would expect. Take your business to a company that does not support that.

Refuse to cut lumber even if paid for it. I was told they will only cut lumber to fit in a car. I said that was perfect because my car can only fit 1x4s that are 60 3/4”

It appears that I’ve been charged multiple times for an order. How can I resolve this?
These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped. If you observe multiple pending authorizations, please contact your financial institution as each bank’s policies differ on how long authorizations are held.
