  Dean and his crew were great to work with. In my experience, many contractors send their A-team to win the project, and then the crew you get is hit or miss. Not with Dean’s crew. The same quality I saw in the design stage showed up with the people who did the work. When something in the plan didn’t make sense in real life, they proactively adjusted and used great judgment. Truly a design-build team. Very happy with both the quality of the work and the people.

  I hired Dean and his crew for a backyard landscaping project (patio, sidewalk, new garden beds), and I'm very pleased with the result! The crew was very careful and meticulous, but also worked quickly. I had a particular vision in mind (part mid-century, part Japanese garden), and Dean made some great design recommendations to achieve that vision. I can't wait to do some planting in the new garden beds in the spring!

  I am a senior with COPD and I asked my wife to get some quotes to make a retaining wall on a hill alongside our house so I would no longer have to mow it. Unbeknownst to me Dean Bjorkstrand said he would come out for $125. Well she wrote him the check and he came back with a quote of $26,000. The nearest quote from others is $10,000. When he looked looked at my humble house he should have known I couldn't afford the 26k. But he pocketed my $125. Quit a nice little scam he has got going there. So unless you have money to burn don't have this guy come to your house. I sure threw my 125 in the toilet. I am thinking about calling the better business bureau to get my money back.

  We were in a bit of an emergency and really appreciated Dean's prompt response. He and his crew did a great job at a fair price, and Dean provided very useful advice, opinions, and suggestions. Above and beyond the call of duty! Highly recommend calling Dean first.
