  Dean and his team are tremendous to work with. From the original design to installation the customer service level was perfect. The project turned out even better than I had imagined. I have received so many compliments from neighbors and friends. Can’t say enough good things about the whole experience

  We contacted Dean Bjorkstrand in January, to discuss ways to solve a drainage problem we had at our front entrance, and to redo our patio in the back yard. Dean responded quickly and came over to meet with us, and on the spot he had several ideas how to fix our drainage, and several other suggestions regarding the patio and walkways. He had design drawings and price estimates back to us within two weeks. We ended up hiring Dean Bjorkstrand, Inc. to redo the grading at the front entrance, install a couple of underground drains, lay new bluestone, and install a new stone retaining wall across the front of the house. They also installed a new patio with pergola and walkway, along with new lighting in front and back. We anxiously watched as the first rain fell after completion of the project, and everything worked like a charm: no risk of water getting into the basement! Beyond the drainage fixes, we were blown away by how beautifully everything turned out. I soon learned to trust Dean's judgment - he has a keen eye for design, and he knew what would look right with our house and surroundings. I had a few doubts beforehand, but everything he recommended looks fantastic. The customer service provided by Dean and his crew was superb at every step of the project - they responded promptly to all questions and concerns, and always listened carefully to make sure we were on the same page. I would highly recommend Dean Bjorkstrand, Inc. for anyone considering a large or small hardscaping project.

  Dean did an amazing job from the beginning when we met last Fall to develop a plan to completion of our landscaping project this summer. Initially we planned on updating existing landscaping of rock gardens around our home, but then we expanded that to add a patio off our deck. Our goal was to have a hot tub, sauna and shed. Deans expertise came up with a plan to use the side our home that wasn’t used, and also included a new living area with fire pit. From day one, we found Dean to be a man of character, with immense experience with stone and flowers and the ability to see a space and create a special space for your family. In addition, his team of Sroy, Vladimir and Margaret were wonderful to work with for the 6 weeks it took to get the job done. We would highly recommend Dean and his team for any project you may have.

  Dean had a stunning vision for our backyard and was able to turn it into something we never imagined it could be. I was a great experience from design through to the execution by his incredibly professional team. We plan to come back to him again in the future to complete our front yard. Thanks again, Dean!

  We first used this company many years ago to build rock walls in front of our house and a brick fireplace/patio in the back yard. After many years of wear and tear, it needed to be repaired and rebuilt. We hired Dean to do the job. When completed, it was more even attractive than the first time.
