I went in to possibly buy a new washer, there was an associate in the area when we got there but then disappeared, so I went over to where 2 associates were sitting at desks to ask for help, neither one got up and acknowledged me but instead got on the intercom to have someone come over, after a few minutes of waiting again we left and will be purchasing from Home Depot.

There was a day when Lowe's shined brighter in almost every way than their competition! It was our go-to for sure for everything from home improvement to appliances for decades. The experience I had yesterday changed all of that. And by the looks of many many other reviews, unfortunately I am not alone. I had an issue with a freezer that I bought a couple of weeks ago, and so I went into the store for help. I remained respectful and courteous in my conversations and was simply looking for some help with the situation. Without going into all of the details and interactions, I will just say that everyone in the department and the "manager on duty", Austin, was not only unhelpful, but rude and Austin was nothing less than smug. No apology for the issue I was having, no concern whatsoever, no attempt to help in any way. I was told that I had to call the manufacturer and then tried to get me out of the store as fast as they could basically. They told me the general manager was out of the store for weeks and so I left a message for the district manager to call me, and of course that didn't happen either. Typically poor customer service and these types of attitudes trickle down from upper leadership, so I wasn't surprised. Based on other reviews here, it seems this is the new but certainly unimproved Lowe's. Home Depot and Menards both have considerably higher reviews than Lowe's does now. I will not be back under any circumstances, my home improvement projects and future appliances will 100% be with Home Depot! Sadly, I will predict this building and many of their others will sit empty eventually, you can't treat your customers this way, and you can't have a perspective that the customer doesn't matter and stay in business anymore.

My wife bought what we were told was a 4" diameter, 100' corrugated hose. There was not a bar code on it, and she questioned the person who was at the checkout register whether it was actually 100', and he said that there's no way it wouldn't be 100' since it was the only one in the system.
We take it home, cut the twine holding it together up, measured it... guess what: it's 50'. We were charged for a 100' corrugated hose. Once discovering this, we put it back in our van, but I didn't dare consider bringing it in the cart once we were at the store, because common sense suggested that it wouldn't fit in the cart.
Well, apparently their returns department lacks common sense. They directed us to put it in a cart. Guess what? You can't fit a 50' coiled corrugated hose into a cart. So we hauled it to the store and were told to put it into one of those dollies (when it obviously didn't fit).
The only thing I learned about this place is that it's a waste of time to go here. I have rarely gone to this store and won't be going here again, even if it means going to a different city.

There were no other vehicles in the curbside pick up area and after waiting 20 minutes we finally had to walk inside to try and get some help. Customer service couldn’t get to anyone on their walkies but we finally an associate Keegan came and asked if we needed help and promptly helped us fulfill our order and load up our vehicle as well. If not solely for his efforts in helping us, it would have been a 1 star experience but he truly made our night better

I was sold an Ego trimer that had an As Is sale. I asked 3 different people including the cashier if the item was used. Everyone told me was new and that I could return it if I wanted to. Guess what…..was used. Went to return it and a short supposed manager in charge with a silly mustache told me no because sale was final. I explained that 3 different people assured me I could but with the worst arrogant behavior that I have seen in any store he told me he was the manager and would not accept the return. I explained that 3 different people told me the item was new and could be returned. Avoid this place at all cost.

It appears that I’ve been charged multiple times for an order. How can I resolve this?
These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped. If you observe multiple pending authorizations, please contact your financial institution as each bank’s policies differ on how long authorizations are held.
