  Jim Kettner was such a great help when we visited last weekend. We walked in knowing roughly what we wanted, and Jim helped us pick out the best set for our nursery. With so many types and materials of couches and recliners, it can get tough to narrow down to a couple. Jim took our constraints and budget in mind and helped us pick our favorite. Jim stated he's been with the company for 16 years, and its clear to see what a wealth of knowledge he is and just how incredible an asset he is for the HOM and Dock86 company. We will for sure be seeking out Jim and Dock 86 moving forward!

  Jim Kettner helped my mom and I while we were searching for a couch for my first apartment and he was so incredibly kind, knowledgeable and helpful in finding me the most comfortable, stylish and affordable couch! I could only put a deposit down right now but so long as I am approved for my apartment I will be purchasing the couch and I cant wait! Incredible customer service!

  I had such a wonderful experience working Jim K. He was incredibly kind, patient, and truly knowledgeable about everything in the store. What stood out the most was how he treated my mom—with so much respect and care, taking the time to answer all of her questions without ever making her feel rushed. He helped find the perfect couch for my mom, and also guided me through choosing a beautiful living room set for myself. His honesty and calm approach made the whole process feel easy and comfortable. You can tell he genuinely cares about his customers, not just making a sale. That kind of service is rare, and it made this experience really special. I’m very grateful and would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for furniture.

  Jim was incredibly friendly and helpful and overall made the experience of purchasing a new sofa a breeze. I loved that he didn’t bombard us and let us shop around while checking in here and there to answer any of our questions. We were originally quoted that our furniture would be delivered in two to three weeks, however due to the couch coming in earlier than expected our delivery was scheduled just 4 days later which was amazing! Our delivery experience was wonderful as well. Jason called in advance to let us know he was on his way and we also received communication from DOCK86 a couple of days in advance. Honestly 10/10 experience. Would highly recommend!

  My wife and I have been planning to buy a new loveseat for months but haven't gotten around to it. We have purchased a few items at this store in the past and because their have 3 brands under one roof, a massive showroom and a bargain area, we thought we'd check it out on a rare obligation free Saturday afternoon. We had been shown a few things in the Hom floor that were alright but had no intention of purchasing anything. We walked up and down the aisles of sodas and loveseats on the Dock86 side and my wife sat in something just as we were ready to leave. And we lingered. It was t really what we were thinking and were really just taking pics of tags, gathering information, etc Then along comes the sales lady. I'm a pretty independent consumer, do my own research on these things, try to gather a lot of info and make a solid decision. To me, salespeople are 99% unnecessary and I'm what they call a tough customer. I'm not easily sold on things because a salesperson talks it up. I don't succumb to high pressure tactics and will walk straight out the door if I feel pressured. This experience was not like that. We were given a ton of information. More than all our questions were answered. And perhaps for the first time in my long life, I walked into a store 99.999% certain I wasn't making a purchase, and ended up.tirning over my credit card. It was in no small part due to the knowledgeable and persuasive, but not pushy or overbearing salesperson. We both were instilled with a deep comfort in the product, the store and the salesperson to the point that a near 100% no became a 100% yes. We were able to schedule delivery on the following Saturday, we were given a clear timeframe, they arrived at the beginning of the delivery window and had it set up effortlessly in under 10 minutes, even though my home is old and has very narrow passages. This was by far the best furniture purchase/delivery experience I've ever had.
