- BBBertJun 8, 20263.0Bought a used mower. I get it, you get what you pay for. It was delivered with an open deck. No chute, no mulcher attachment, no nothing. As I am looking at the open deck and blades I expressed my concerns. The driver did take it back and they installed a chute at no extra charge. I used it for the 3rd time today and had to put gas in it. Next thing I know I have gas all over the floor. Oh, the fuel line was bad and spliced with thin white plastic tubing (no barbs). So i buy a barbed splice and new tubing. I run it for a while and it starts getting hot enough I can smell it. No oil in the damn thing. Like I wrote, you get what you pay for. Life lesson, even though they say they checked it out, make sure you double check it out. Needless to say, i wont go back. Maybe mowers just aren't there thing.
