  I was welcomed immediately and shown to the pillow areas. The gentleman explained the differences and I purchase three of them.

  I live in Edina, so naturally the Edina store was my first choice when I needed two king size beds for one of my clients. I called about a month and a half ago, spoke with Lauren, and explained that I needed them by a specific date, which was about a week and a half away. I was simply told it could not be done. When I asked if there was any possibility of getting them sooner than the two weeks, I was just told no again. I was disappointed not only by the response, but that there seemed to be no willingness to even try or offer an explanation. Out of curiosity, I called the Minnetonka store. The manager explained that the normal timeframe was one to two weeks and was very clear that he could not guarantee my date but promised he would do everything he could. I ordered both beds from him, and they actually arrived ahead of the date I needed them, in about a week. Shortly after this I purchased another king size from him. I am writing this review now because yesterday I purchased my fourth bed, so far, from the Minnetonka store and it reminded me of what led to him being my go-to for my family and my clients. We have been extremely happy with our beds, and my clients theirs, and with the service we have received there. There will be many more purchases in the future from my family and my clients, and we look forward to working with Shane and his team at Minnetonka. It would certainly have been more convenient to shop at the store just blocks from my home, but one phone call changed where I chose to do business. In hindsight, I am very happy it led me to the Minnetonka store. Sometimes simply being willing to listen, be professional, and try to help can have a much bigger impact than you realize

  A few weeks ago, my husband and I visited the Edina Tempur-Pedic location while shopping for a new mattress. We spoke with the store manager, Laurel, and had a very pleasant interaction overall. There were a couple of mattress options that were not available on the showroom floor that we wanted to try before making our decision. We also made it clear that we were not planning to purchase that day and would likely make our decision within a few days. Because we live in Minnetonka, we specifically asked whether there was another Tempur-Pedic location in or near Minnetonka where we could try the additional firmness options. We were told there was not, and we were instead encouraged to visit the Mattress Firm just down the road. We did go to the Mattress Firm that same day. Although they also did not have the exact models we wanted to try, the representative there was helpful and ultimately worked with us when we were ready to make our decision. We later contacted her and placed our order at Mattress Firm. Just this past Monday, we were at Ridgedale Mall in Minnetonka and, while waiting in line for the new iPhone at Apple, my husband noticed a Tempur-Pedic store just a few feet away. After we finished at Apple, we went over and discovered that this location has been there as long as the Edina location. We mentioned our experience to the gentleman working there. He was extremely cordial and professional and did not assign blame or make excuses. He simply said, in essence, “We’re here now, and we’re happy to help in any way we can.” I appreciated his response and his professionalism. I want to be clear that I cannot know why we were given incorrect information at the Edina location, and I don't want to speculate about anyone's intentions. However, I do believe that when a customer specifically asks whether there is a store within your same organization, in a particular city, and especially when that customer is still deciding where to make a significant purchase, the information provided should be accurate. Ultimately, Tempur-Pedic still received our business, so perhaps from a corporate perspective the outcome was the same. But from a customer-service perspective, the experience left us disappointed. We would have much preferred to purchase directly from Tempur-Pedic, and unfortunately, because of this experience, we will not return to the Edina location. We will, however, be purchasing our adjustable base from the Minnetonka location when we are ready. The staff member there demonstrated exactly the kind of courteous and helpful customer service that I would hope to receive when making a significant purchase. I’m sharing this feedback in the hope that it can be addressed appropriately. Again, this is not about the product, it is about the customer experience and the importance of providing accurate information. Thank you, Steph

  Low pressure and at the same time knowledgeable. We went to several mattress stores and returned here because we liked how everything felt--the mattress, the people, the company.
