  we were out of electricity for two days. it finally came back on last night. now it has been shut down again. I have a disabled person who is on oxygen. Our generator broke down Yesterday!!! He had to stay in the suv for air and oxygen yesterday. Now we need our electric back.!!! 😡😡😡😡

  DTE energy is nothing but incompetent. I never had power outage issue till I started using their service. How come a little wind can interrupt the power every time. What a fragile work you did? Incompetent peasant company. Ask yourself why this happens so often?

  The outage map status is consistently wrong again. This maybe 5 or 6 outages in a row that I'll get ETA 'today'. Then overnight it switches to 'tomorrow'. I'm out of power since Wednesday at 2am and the new info on Saturday: 'status currently unavailable '.

  The power at Aspen chase 2501 international drive has been out for days now. I called dte at noon and they said crews were outside and it should be on shortly. It’s now 3am and dte keeps pushing the time schedule back of when’s it’s supposed to come back on. It’s sad that they don’t care about us. Hundreds of people here who have all said dte is not providing updates or anything. I just pray my groceries and everything are still ok.

  I've never had problems with power outages or DTE until I moved to this city. This review applies to the frequent occurrence of outages and the inability to get information regarding restoration. I do not remember DTE being this useless in the past.. Edit: Now, 24 hours later, there is still no update outside of, "...95% of customers should have power restored by Saturday." This means, if I'm lucky, I'll have be without power for 3 more days.. Of course, there's no way to know with certainty. In fact, they know so little about the status of their customers, I was instructed to drive back to my house today because they couldn't tell if the power was restored. As I'm sure you can guess at this point, the power was still out. Now, a day later, still no specific ETA for restoration. Thousands of people are at the mercy of one company. This last winter proved the infrastructure was vulnerable, logically you'd imagine repairs and improvements would follow. Nonetheless, a ten minute thunderstorm has left me and thousands around me without power. I keep comparing this situation with what I do at my own job, and there's no way what DTE is doing would be remotely acceptable.
