Horrific service !! First delivery my item was not on the truck even though I was getting notification they were on their way. Not a single person from Gardner white called me. Second time for delivery they were HOURS late. I was told multiple times a supervisor would contact me. That was Oct 4th it's now Oct 13th, guess what I'm still waiting for a supervisor to call me. Even better two employees said one would call.

⭐ ONE STAR — Disgusting customer service and a sales experience that left us feeling deceived.
We spent nearly $6,000 on a Tempur-Pedic Luxe Hybrid mattress at Gardner White on Telegraph Road about 60 days ago. My husband and I were leaning toward the soft mattress, but the salesperson pushed us toward the medium and reassured us that we could exchange it if we weren’t happy.
What they FAILED to disclose during that conversation was that the exchange would cost approximately $760—a $199.99 white-glove fee PLUS a 10% restocking fee. That is a significant expense to leave out while using the ability to exchange as reassurance to close a sale.
We now wake up every day with back pain and soreness between our shoulder blades. This mattress feels like a brick, nothing like the medium we tried in the showroom. Corporate told us to walk on it and keep the room warmer. We followed those suggestions, and nothing changed.
When we explained that the salesperson never disclosed the exchange fees, corporate sent us back to the store. Store manager Rachel contacted regional manager Randel, whose response was essentially: you signed the paperwork, so pay the fees.
That response is infuriating. Having a fee buried in paperwork does not excuse failing to explain it when a customer is specifically being reassured about an exchange. We were making our decision based on what YOUR salesperson told us.
We were also repeat customers. We purchased a couch and two recliners from this store about 10 months ago and planned to purchase another family room set. We even offered a compromise: a discount on a clearance floor model to help offset the exchange expense. Rachel was willing to help. We found an $800 piece and offered to pay $100 with a $700 discount. When she called Randel to discuss processing it, he shut that down too.
In our experience, Randel’s customer service was appalling. He rejected both a fee waiver and a proposed compromise, leaving us with the impression that keeping our money mattered far more than addressing how we were sold this mattress. Rachel made an effort, but regional management made sure it went nowhere.
We are disgusted. We trusted the salesperson, spent nearly $6,000, and are now expected to pay hundreds more to exchange the mattress we were steered toward in the first place.
Randel’s handling of this situation has cost Gardner White our business permanently. We will never buy another thing from this store.
Before you spend your money here, get every promise—and every exchange fee—in writing. The reassuring sales pitch we received did not match the expensive reality.

I have needed a new couch for a long time, and have shopped online several times to see what is available. It's been difficult to find time to actually get to a furnitire store so I could see, touch, and sit on some couches---I won't buy a couch without experiencing how it feels to sit on it, or what color it really is under indoor lighting. Online pictures cannot convey these things. Anyway, it was nice to walk among the many different kinds of couches, love seats and chairs. My salesman was just the right amount of helpful without being pushy. If he (or anyone else) had been pushy, I'd have walked out. I was very satisfied with my visit to Gardner-White/Taylor.

Quick, easy and I feel confident walking away with my purchase. Brian Paul was fantastic, definitely patient and knowledgeable! He answered all of my many questions and actually seemed to care about helping me pick the right mattress. I'll be back to GW for my next furniture need.
