I would give ZERO stars. Waited 45 minutes for help that never came to flooring after 3 requests. All staff on their phone, only one employee seen working by wiping down bbq grills. Was prepared to spend $6000 on flooring. Frustrating we’re stuck with only 3 giant corporations for home improvement.

I am extremely disappointed with the experience I had purchasing my new washer and dryer.
When I purchased the appliances, the sales associate recommended a gas line that ended up being too short. Since I told her I didn’t know what length I needed, I expected the recommendation to be correct. On delivery day, the installers informed me the gas line was too short and told me to exchange it at Lowe’s.
When I went to the returns desk, I was told the gas line could not be returned, so I had to purchase another one. An associate assured me it was the longest gas line the store carried. I returned home, only to find that it was still too short. At that point, the installers said they were leaving anyway. I explained that the installation wasn’t complete and asked them not to take my old dryer since the new one wasn’t operational. Instead, I was told they didn’t care, they were leaving, and that I needed to call customer service. Despite my objections, they took my old dryer, leaving me with a brand-new dryer that couldn’t even be used.
I then spent even more time on the phone with customer service, who also gave me incorrect information and had me purchase yet another gas line that wasn’t the right one. Frustrated, I went back to the store to speak with the store manager. That’s when I found out the store actually had the required 72-inch gas line in stock the entire time. I had previously been told no such gas line existed. Whether it was due to poor training or a lack of effort to help, I was given incorrect information multiple times.
Now I have to wait again for another installation appointment just to have my dryer connected.
This entire situation has cost me:
* Two days of unpaid work because I had to stay home for deliveries and resolve these issues.
* Hundreds of dollars tied up in gas lines that were incorrectly recommended.
* The loss of my old, fully functioning dryer before my new one was even operational.
* Hours of unnecessary trips to the store and phone calls because of repeated mistakes by Lowe’s employees.
This experience was completely avoidable. The sales associate should not recommend the shortest gas line when a customer clearly says they don’t know what size is needed. Delivery teams should carry multiple gas line lengths or have a way to complete installations without sending customers back and forth to the store. Most importantly, my old dryer should never have been removed after I specifically stated that I wanted to keep it until the new one was fully installed and working.
I expect Lowe’s to make this right by compensating me for the unnecessary expenses and inconvenience caused by these repeated errors. This level of customer service is unacceptable, and I hope steps are taken to ensure other customers do not experience the same treatment.

Went here to check out some plants for a birthday gift. While I did find her a super healthy Garden Croton, a lot of the plants in here are not taken care of. Some of them are soaking in water, some of them are root bound, and some of them are shriveling up from being severely under watered and the ones on the very bottom shelf of a rolling rack not getting any light. This is 1 of the 3 Lowe’s locations I went to. 2nd Lowe’s was 16 & Vandyke. They had better taken care of plants and they had empty trays. Third store was 15 & gratiot and I got me a beautiful plant there! Extremely well taken care of.
