I’m sitting in the store, currently been waiting over 30 minutes for a pickup order of 2 bags of peat moss… what??? Giving two starts because Tamika at the return desk is nice, but the store overall is a bit of a wreck.

Lowe’s customer service is extremely poor. I placed a $4,000 tile order on Saturday, April 4th. They told me the store didn’t have enough inventory and promised to transfer from another location and deliver by Monday. I agreed because I’m a small business and closed Monday and Tuesday for renovation—I cannot afford more downtime.
On Sunday, they suddenly informed me the delivery was rescheduled to Tuesday, not Monday as promised. When I called the Southfield customer service, they offered no solution and simply told me to cancel. The staff were rude, unprofessional, and completely unhelpful.
If I could give 0 stars, I would. This is the first 1-star review I’ve ever given in my life.

It appears that I’ve been charged multiple times for an order. How can I resolve this?
These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped.
